Pandan leaves are good to put in boiling rice. It really adds the aroma to it. I miss having these in rice.
This vedio is very interesting n love d village way of cooking on d wood fire outside in d open kitchen. Almost like we cooking India, scrapping d coconut n other things etc. Food looks delicious n tempting. Little Bella is so adorable walking n talking now. Hello beautiful family. This vlog about province life brings back so many sweet and beautiful memories of my childhood when I spent growing in the province before going to Manila for college. My grandparents love to cook the sweet rice with coconut milk and I never get tired watching them patiently mixing everything and it turned out so delicious. Province life is simple but is fun. People are kind , friendly and sincere and plenty of organic vegetables, just walk to the garden and everything is available. Thank you for sharing this vlog and I really admire you Mirco for showing genuine interest in our way of life-the food we eat, the way we prepare food, etc Enjoy your coming adventures and Baby Bella is bonding so well with her Mom’s family! Appreciate how Mirco always facinated by the simplest things we take for granted in the Philippines. I was laughing the whole time , especially Mirco expressions when Tita just took what was inside the coconut and threw it in the ground 😂..organic fertilizer! Reminds me of your expressions when Tere breaking the pasta when she put it in the pot 😂❤

Hi Mirco, that reddish Coconut Wine fresh from the Tree is called TUBA not Lambanog. Because LAMBANOG is TUBA being Boiled and Distilled. And the Steam from Boiling is very Clear like Water and is collected and called LAMBANOG which is about 80% to 100% Alcohol. In short LAMBANOG is DISTILLED TUBA.
