Manny has a very valuable but very boring collection. He just collects cars for their value. He barely drives anything but the Rolls Royce’s.

I disagree on the senna, Since the factory did the work I see this as an advantage. These cars are all hand built, how often does the factory rebuild 1/2 a McLaren after 2500 miles? Anything that was loose, off, or slightly wrong was corrected and the car was redelivered to the owner after a proper shakedown..
Plus IIRC, they were still in production at the time, so its not like its some old guys restoring an old car with old tooling etc. Or at least, its obviously a very recent model.

Loving the series been following shmee since the old green 650 s days the big takeaway from this is the fact that shmee drives his cars regardless of how rare they are and i think that for me is such a cool thing seeing these rare and expensive car driven and not sit in garages of various collectors with 100 200 miles on it
Shmee is one person I would never hesitate to buy a car from. He takes such good care of all of his vehicles. Not that I'd be able to afford any of his cars or anything.... maybe the clio.
He had a Suzuki Jimny which is also affordable. I bought one just before he did. I still own it.

The Elise actually belongs to a friend of Tim's. They had it at the Shmuseum to put running-in mileage on. Tim is, in fact, due to take delivery of a brand new Lotus Emira within the next couple of months. I would be interested to hear Ed's and the two Johns' evaluation of that...

Having seen the Shmee's STO in person. It is freaking beautiful in person. The pink & yellow just works. The Ford GT as well works amazingly. He gets a lot of stick for his spec choices but they have all been a beauty for me.

Fun fact, the ford GT is specced after the famous Alan mann ford GT40 and rally cars. Ford has also just brought out the heritage Alan mann edition. Most of Tim’s cars do have a story or reason behind the spec

The team is underestimating the impact of mileage. That 675 LT will need $15K brakes and a $10K engine-out service as well as about $5K in repairs. It would be under 300K by a LOT. And the color hurts it as it reduces the pool of interested buyers

I agree. But his is probably like 1.8m and yes his Toyota his Ford his audi and 2 land rover and his Mercedes g wagon cabriolet I think I got all the brands he has lol. So 6 cause he sold his kia stinger GT and I if his wife had a vehicle in her name that doesn't count obviously

I don't watch his channel but I respect him for that. If I buy a car I'm going to drive it, not park it and look at it. Cars are made to be driven and I want to get my money's worth and enjoy it. I tremendously respect Rowan Atkinson for daily driving his McLaren F1 and running errands in it.

I was lucky enough to meet Tim at the Nurburgring a few years ago when he had his Senna there. Real genuine car guy who always has time for people and yet is always working too.
Best thing was talking to him about the Senna and him saying he has to pinch himself sometimes because he can't believe he has got to a point where he owns a hypercar.
Excited to see if he gets into buying more second hand future classics (like the Renault Clio dynamique) 😆
Valuation on the RS Heritage is about accurate, they are worth about £75k in the UK although even I think they are over priced, they are the last RS models so I kinda get it.
I love Shmee and his videos. He is the most down to earth, and maybe the most valued car RUclipsr existing!

Shmee150 is a "smart buyer", which basically means he buys knowing that they will appreciate. It is a gamble, because sometime they go lower, but like the stock market he hopes to get gains overall.
He also makes content on them so just posting videos about the cars raises the value

Loving the series guys! A couple suggestions for future episodes could be DDE and Manny Khoshbin
The focus RS is a really special car, my uncle has one in a beautiful blue colour with all the carbon options and it looks amazing, it sounds incredible and it’s super fast! His car only has about 2,500km (1500 miles) on it and he has been offered upwards of $90,000aud for the car. He always says he will never sell the car. He loves it! (We live in Australia, and there were only about 500 delivered in total for the generation that he has.)
Truple F collection would probably be a 2 part video. Manny Koshbin would be good to value
With Manny, do they value each SLR individually, or put a value on the car and then multiply it by 7 or 8 (or however many he has now)?

Tim has owned his first Clio for several years. It had been in an accident and crushed into a cube which he has. This Clio is a duplicate of that car, not the original.
The Lotus Elise is not Tim's car but owned by a friend if I understood the video correctly.
Like you guys, I didn't understand the Zenvo. Too weird for me. If he was after a hypercard, he loves the Koenigsegg cars.Hope Zenvo cut him a deal well below retail for the exposure.

Since then, I saw that Zenvo has just come to the US with their first dealership in Denver. And they were at Hypercar Invitational as well, so I think it's very likely that Zenvo will come to the US, eventually.

Feels like this valuing video just highlights all the issues Tim has with the value of modern cars. Less than 10k miles and people act like the thing has been run to death. A perfect paintjob done better than factory to a real color other than dull gray. If you want bland gray just go outside and look up in the UK.

The biggest problem with trying to do this with Shmee's collection is that it seems to change week to week. I think there are already several changes from when this video was made.

It’s a good job you stipulated that you’re basing the prices off of US spec cars, and no example is more clear than with the Focus RS Heritage. Even with Ed’s $75k valuation, I think that’s still a little conservative. Heritage cars were selling last year for £65k even before the market went crazy; RS Fords are held in such high regard here that prices are loopy all the time, you will struggle to get a nice RS from any generation, Focus, Escort, Sierra, anything, for less than 90% MSRP.

Do we really think changing the SLS from grey to blue hits the value by such a massive amount? I’d say personally the impact would be minimal as it was done in another Mercedes’ colour, by a quality company who’ve done a top job from what I can tell, it’d be different if he sprayed it pink or something. Sometimes we put way too much emphasis on paint in cars, most cars of a certain age have had paintwork done, some Ferraris have been sprayed in 3 shades of Rosso Corsa
