Hey ww2 history hunter you go to a lot of hard work to make videos for all of us to watch and enjoy so a really big thanks from me and probably a lot more people.
Appreciated and thanks for watching.
This video is the best one I have seen from you ww2historyhunter. I haven't seen all of your video's as of yet but by far this one is the best. Thank you for showing what the Germans would have been looking at. Great job.
Glad you enjoyed it
a FRIEND OF MY DAD BOUGHT A BUNKER IN fRANCE IN THE 60'S AND CONVERTED INTO A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE, (Sorry about the caps) it had a curved window of nearly 40 m view on the ocean and was a 4 levels building. Still had a British flag painted on an inside wall with a bunch of names. As kids we had a lot of fun playing with the helmets and all the equipment we found in there.
Thanks for sharing John and Greetings from us.

Never ceases to amaze me the amount of effort the Germans went to!
Thanks for taking time to watch and greetings from us.
They used slot of concrete.
Thanks for sharing Mate ... 👍👍
Thanks Aussie
Gonna watch it this afternoon on tv. Smartphone doesnt do it justice
Do you ever read the history of the battles that might have ensued from these places. IE: would there be written accounts of the battles.
I have just read Holger Eckhertz interviews from the German soldiers eyewitness accounts from the now called D day landings and it was interesting to put the men and happenings to the actual fortifications that are still present. The Germans had totally different names for the wall and each section which is totally lost unless you can get maps and eyewitness testimonies.
that would be very interesting to add to his adventures.. a bit of information on actual battle from the spot or in the area.. I will have to read the book you have suggested.. I have read many from spears books to the rise and fall and a smattering of books written by different soldiers from all sides. But nothing from the german side of d day yet.
The Eckhertz books appear to be fakes. Check the one star reviews on amazon. I ate up the d day book, but the skeptics make a pretty strong case.
This location seems to be especially well built into the hillside and takes advantage of the natural terrain quite well too. Would be very hard to see this place from out on the water.
Thanks for taking time to watch and greetings from us.
Great and informative tour, as usual. Thanks for sharing
Appreciated and thanks for watching.
It would be really helpful if you had a picture of such a position as it looked all decked out for war. Just a thought. Fantastic video, as always, my friend. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing these incredible videos with us. Please keep them coming! God bless you and your family!
Did you say that you were in France? I really wish you would tell us where you are so that we can further research. Thanks for your channel sir.
Thanks for taking time to watch and greetings from us.
Are a lot of these sights on private property , or are they considered public domain because of their historic past?
Appreciated and thanks for watching.
I think this is Sirevåg kystfort in Norway. That one is accessible to the public; other locations will probably differ.
That,s a good question!
It’s amazing the number of locations that were built and weapons and equipment installed, that never saw action. Seeing the small details like the writing on the wall is very nice to see. I know you couldn’t get down stairs but I wonder if there were bunks down there? I was wondering also if some of the pipes coming up from the ground were also used to hold metal pipes for the camouflage?
i think the pipes were for that yes. Thanks.
Super cool fire control bunker and observation area thank you. For sharing this awesome video with drone footage.
No problem 👍
I was stationed in Bindlach in the 70's and I am wondering if you have ever been to that area? Where I was stationed at was an airbase duringWW2.
Not at that specific location no. Thanks Carl.
Thanks again for an excellent video, it is nice that you can observe it from the sky.
Glad you enjoyed it
Too bad you could not fly your drone inside the sealed off bottom? Interesting as always.
Very nice location and so glad to have shared with you Erik.
Another beautiful location! Thank you and BBG!
Our pleasure!
Another great video - really interesting & well filmed
Thanks, J
Greetings SandMan
At 13:20 I thought to myself, "If they put Boba Fett on Mt Rushmore........."
Thanks for taking time to watch and greetings from us.
A Great Scenic and Historical Adventure!
Thank you James
Impressive WW2 relic ! Great position, massive construction, very well use of the landscape/terrain and...almost perfect state after so much time... That place is...amazing !
No trace of any bombing or ...bullets...!?!
Will we see also the FIRING ('big' cannons) position(s) and maybe 'barracks'... ?
Thanks for taking time to watch and greetings from us.
8:58 awww you could have made it in there mate!! Great explore as aways nevertheless!!! Can i ask what part of the world you are from?

Thanks a lot Aaron
Excellent. Thanks for getting out there, we all can’t make it.
Thanks my friend.
Great adventure as always my friend. Wonderful shots of the observation tower from below, as it really showed how well they attempted to disguise their location fortification.
yes great example of camo in use :) Thanks
Another good one, Great organic looking bunker, would have been hard to spot even without camo nets. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for taking time to watch and greetings from us.
Another amazing wonderful location and video , thank you for sharing this with us.
Great Henry and greetings from us.
Very incredible how the concrete looks so much like the local rock. With the camo canvas Im sure you wouild have to be right close before you saw it. I would love to see what this site looked like originally and ready for action!
Thanks for taking time to watch and greetings from us.
Wonder what it looked like back then, obviously the concrete has been curing for some 70+ years, and weathering along with the living room, definitely would,ve needed camo, back then, awesome construction all the same!
Too bad you could not fly your drone inside the sealed off bottom?
Interesting as always.
Thanks Erik
Very interesting. Love seeing these relatively u touched infrastructures. So much effort. The Poor souls who made it happen. Great little metal work that still survives. So many still yet to discover. Keep up the great work. Be well. E safe. Happy trails 👏🏻👍🏻✌🏻
Thanks for watching.
Amazing the condition of the place, good video.

Another great video 👍
Appreciated and thanks for watching.
Very nice video
I believe that the date in the stone not only says 1944 but Juli (July). Puzzling since that would have been after D-Day. I like the views from the drone. Absolutely fantastic.
Thanks my friend and greetings from us.
3:58 that insignificant tube there is a mount for BINOCULARS. The Germans had HUGE heavy high magnification binoculars ( I have some like this) so they had these mounts to steady them for looking.
Good to know and thanks my friend.
I like this site so much......Please don't stop sharing. If I can get some spare money, I will send it .
We will present lots more in the future :)
Thank you for another great video
Glad you watched and thanks.
Am very expressed with the quality of the concrete camouflage. It’s almost like an artist sculpted it. I wonder how many ships were sunk before the invasion from locations like this? I wonder if the Germans felt invincible being in these bunkers? From the sea you would probably never know it was there. The camouflage netting probably helped it from by spotted from the air. Maybe another trip could get you into the room that was blocked. Thanks for another great video.
Well some did hit vessels others were never used. Great place that is and thanks :)
On the walls in Bunker the Germans painted pictures from the cost and Landscape with specialy points and quadrat raster. For all that points they are firing their weapons and have adjustment dates. So they can firing in 5 sec. to exact this point who the Kommandoposten befiehlt. Nice Video, thank you.
Greetings from 🇩🇪
Thanks for comment and for watching.

Nice fire position bunkers. And the flakkgun or 88 positions are awesome!
They truly are my friend. Thanks Roberto
Thanks for sharing your visit to that place. Amazing how they formed the rocks from concrete. One would almost think it’s an artistic labour of love, if we wouldn’t know what it was for and who had to do the work.
It would be cool if you added a bit more historic detail, like why was it built exactly there, how thick are the walls, what was probably fitted on the metal remains on the walls with edited in pictures of those items, what unit was stationed there and when, was it manned by Germans or by foreign soldiers who joined the German side, did it see any action or was it just left behind when the war ended, how was the unit’s relation to the local population etc.
But it sure looks like a very interesting bunker to visit. Thanks.
Thanks for watching.
How is the location.please is in french ?
Locations are not given. Thanks.
They saw the beauty in the world and they just wanted to take it all away from the people.
Thanks Brenda
Anyone else that sees like an entrance down in the middle at 14:34 hiding between the fence to the left and the tree to the right?
well spoted and thanks for watching.
Hello from Russia

....и все в ручную!
Thanks for taking time to watch and greetings from us.
where this location will help
Thank you for watching.
Absolutely love this bunker. The camouflage is very interesting, but being covered with canvas, it would have been totally invisible from both sea and air. A shame part of it was closed off! Thanks for another fascinating video, WW2HH!
I agree. The camo is fantastic good integrated. Thanks
👍👍👏😎
