Lot of extra work vs a deer
New to the channel really enjoy it
Thanks for tagging along!
Looks like ur dad got a new truck
A 10 or 8 wheel rake would work well with 2 14’ or 16’ swathers
Rarely do we replace pins.
No haying videos yet?
Great video man. House is coming along nice. And yes, we are all chomping at the bit to get into the field. Good luck!
The rain is killing us here in central Kentucky
My 605n is cracking on the ends under the net wrap box. If u wanna check that on yours. Netwrap also wraps around the pickup clutch bearing which is a real pain to pick out
Hey it’s me from the gas station are you still looking for a quick connect because we have one and it comes with the studs
I was hoping to cut today but nope another storm rolled in this morning
You boys to the north of us are getting it pretty good.
@@GolschHayFarms yessir finally got a little break and got to bale this weekend. Got more to do this week so hoping the rain stays always for a while
rained its ass off here outa huntsville for the past while just now catching break in rain
Same here Southwest of Houston, haven’t had rain since Friday. If this keeps up I plan on cutting Wednesday
We have already did our first cutting and we all do a lot of silage. Do y’all do silage down there
We are not in silage country, but quote a few folks wrap wet hay in North Texas.
Is that a Silage Special
no sir. Just a regular N model
Beautiful family
Are you guys getting rain like crazy this spring and summer?
Hi Dane, great videos bro. From a fello Texan and hay farmer in San Benito, i wish you and your family continued success in building your new homestead. Wish you and family great health.
Thank you sir!
Oh man over here in east Texas it’s been the same we will probably have a chance to start cutting this week😂
Man I cringed a little when I saw you pressure washing the baler. Iv never cared for getting water in the bearings & electronics on a baler. I really like those rakes alot. Called & talked to them & got pricing just havent pulled the trigger yet. Looks like we're all in the same boat, literally, here in TX. We'll get in the field one day & when we do it's gonna be crazy!
Lol. I didn't pressure wash the the JD baler bearings cause they were sealed. Ill run some water on these just cause they're greasable.
How tall is your shop door
12'
Awwww your son is adorable my grandparents used to farm hay up in Decatur Tx and yes we have entirely TOO much rain out here in West Texas we dont know if we are gonna be able to have a good whear harvest after that freeze Abilene has set records keep up the good work man glad to see a fellow texan farming on youtube
We're getting a lot of rain up here in Oklahoma also. Great video
Cool video as usual! Wish we could get some of your rain up here in central Pa... 1st crop down about 40% from lack of water. Be safe and thanks for the vids!🇺🇸
I am sick and tired of the rain right now. We ordered fertilizer and they can’t even put it out. Can’t wait till it’s time to make some hay.
Quite the dry spell we are having and will continue to have. Making lots of hay right now.
What machine do you use for cutting? Great video and congrats on the addition to your family!
We use a Vermeer TM1200. it's a 16ft disc mower.
At what bale numbers does Vermeer recomend belt splice pins be changed? We change ours every year reguardless of bale count...
Every 1000 bales
We’re y’all able to get your spraying done? If so did you use your onTrak gps device and how are you liking it? Great video and keep them coming. Thanks
Nope. No spraying yet. But we plan to use it.
I put crusher fines in my equipment shed that I had left over from another project it work very well.
We plan on putting something in there here soon
Great video, we delt with rain like that last year here in Georgia. We haven't had any rain since about the 10th or 12th of May. Hopefully yall will catch a break and get to laying hay down
I think we're out of the woods. Just needs to dry out
