don't expect FPS to come out of nowhere. The only safe things should be full screen optimization and dvr/prior, the rest doesn't really do much to be honest. Also nvidia control panel should've been explained further in this guide as this probably worsens the quality of the image.
@@connerdassen7808 ive asked few ppl and everybody told me that theyre getting less FPS in 12.12 somehow, ive also Heard that its better to put shadows on high in this patch and its true
Just a heads up, playing on borderless instead of fullscreen was capping my refresh rate to 60hz, even though I was getting 100+ fps and my monitor is 144hz. Not sure this would be the same for everybody, but if your game doesn't feel smooth then this is why.
Some people are having issues which is what is keeping me from doing this. Saw a comment earlier about understanding your system and then adjusting each of the setting you did based on your own system instead of expecting the changes to affect everyone the same way.

2023 - and this worked nicely for me on my old low end PC. first gen i7, Gtx 770 and 18g RAM. Was having constant stuttering, de-sync and crashes despite trying like 40 different guides and settings combinations. This gave me a nice little boost in FPS (went from 40average to 65) but most importantly reduced the constant stutters. I followed everything in this guide exactly (besides i disabled Nvidia Low Latency mode (as there is a bug with it on this current patch.) The download link is now a google drive that is missing the txt.file for the Ultimate Performance power option. But you can just pause and write it out on your own. Also it is missing ISLC but you can google it and download it yourself easily, which i highly recommend. Thank you Panjno for the thorough and effective help.
Hey Panj, can you take a look with your expertise and see if Microsoft removed the ultimate performance power plan? I can't find confirmation by googling, but I tried putting in the 'powercfg -duplicatescheme etc.' line and it throws an error so I suspect MS might have disabled it entirely. If the message helps, it reads "Unable to create a new power scheme. The power scheme, subgroup or setting specified does not exist."
maybe turn the anti aliasing mode up to taa high again, or increasing the resolution to 1920x1080 will help. for me the guide worked perfectly without any loss of graphics

@@johannesdolch You'll need a better CPU as well.. The 2500K would bottleneck the hell out of an RTX 3080.
@@Janeichen Of course it would but right now the CPU isn't my Problem. I bought a 3440x1440p Ultrawide 100hz Monitor (Not specifically for Gaming, but it is my monitor now) and the 1060 is too weak to drive it properly with high end games, unsurprisingly. Hopefully the 3080 will also take care of my Tarkov Problems. I still see no reason to change the Processor, certainly not if it is only for one unoptimized beta game. The CPU Industry really didn't nearly evolve as much as the GPU industry and while it is certainly on my list (eying the zen3 but not happy that it will be the last on a dying platform, AM4), i will not change my entire system for gains in the it-doesnt-really-matter range. And the 2500k has been more than enough for any normal non-beta game up to this very day. But you are absolutely correct, it will bottle neck the crap out of a 3080 and will be the next upgrade after that.
thx a alot man!
its still works up to day! bsg is rly doing shit to fix the perfomance issues!
ive got a decent gaming rig but for some reason the fps got worse since the last few patches. ive tried everything but your guide is the the one and only guide which worked for me.
Excellent, really! all I did was run the reg files and it now plays flawlessly in 4k 60, no more micro lag or freeze-ups. Thanks so much!
After a fresh install I was getting abouty 35-40fps on my laptop (msi g65 stealth thin) did what the video suggested used medium settings native resolution have TAA switched on. I am now peaking about 110fps and dipping down to low 80's when i kicks off. Most of the time it sits at about 90fps.

I didn't need the fps pack and it still worked!
Thank You panjno!
Please do a new one, this causes massive stutters and there are many things changed since you made this. It is definitely not 2021 guide.
@OMGIDestroyedMatter read some patch notes.

After doing this tutorial I had 120fps stable on almost every map after yesterday’s patch (31 October 2020) my FPS dropped dramatically to 60-70 any idea what might caused it or how to fix it???
Lol I went from 60-80 to 40-60 aswell in that patch
@@user-oi3dm1fy1p Same idk why either
Same here the patch killed the game entirely for me. From 120 to 50 and when im playing the game for 3 hours the game starts bugging and it takes longer to join new games and stutter appears
i cant stress this enough that you have to put it in fullscreen mode. i was at 50-70 fps on a 1080 but now i'm at 140-54 fps
after fullscreen mode. TURN IT ON
When I type escapefromtarkov.exe it brings me to a file with the exact name in Windows nt.

for me
TNX for guide!!! with love from Russia
Confirming this works in 2022. 3060ti + 10700k. Went from 60fps on shoreline to 85. Factory went from a very sluggish 75 to 135 lmao. its beautiful.
Everything really works, thank you very much for the work you have done.
Thanks for this vid, however I cannot adjust any settings in the intelligent standby list cleaner islc. Is there something blocking it?
i think mine started automatically running have you tried clicking stop then trying to change the settings? Worked for me!
Click stop at the bottom right-hand side of the Intelligent cleaner window and you should then be able to adjust the settings.

GREAT INFO. I shouted you out and shared the link to this video man. You are a saint.
Just wow, I got a new graphics card and cpu and im so glad this helped me gain FPS without losing out on the beautiful game of tarkov. THANK YOU

remember the days when you buy a game all you have to do is. Insert the CD rom let it spin and play the game. Nowadays you practically have to do it for the gaming company with all tricks to boost it your self.
The game is still in beta, and is one of the most complex games ever made.
I wanna watch videos before and after doing these processes..

Man your tutorials are so good I feel sorry for everyone else who tries to make fps tutorials for games as they are are several leagues beneath you in quality. This is premium content bro, seriously.
I appreciate the fact that hes even doing this for AMD!!! Also the video quality is incredible, this dude helped me with almost every game i search fps boost for, CS:GO, R6, APEX etc. even tarkov, i absolutely recommend this and every single fps tutorial from this channel.
Hello from Russia, thanks u for this video)
PFF, IT'S A GUIDE ON MAXIMUM FRAMES, AND HE LOWERS LOBBY FPS TO 30. WHAT A NOOB :)
(I'm kidding, this is great)
Lol
Enabling "Use only physical cores" actually increased my FPS. Maybe because I'm using an older processor (i7 3700)? Thanks for the vid!
Exactly. This dude make video for people with like i5 10400 cpus and newer, he don't even know that this option is increasing fps on a 80% of cpu.
I didn't get it thing about hz too, average people have 60hz and it's already max out, and didn't use gpu scaling lol.
This one the cringiest video about tarkov fps i've ever seen, how tf it get so much viewers?
@@ravioli-ravioli just buy a 10k pc
Exactly. Older processors do better with only physical cores.
@@ravioli-ravioli Wow you're ignorant. Most people these days are actually trying to get high refresh rate 1080 monitors, not sit at 60fps like console scrubs their entire lives. This video has obviously helped over 10k people and you're a pleb with a shit pc.
@@McShag420 if people search "how to increase fps in "x" game", i suppose then they don't really have beefy pcs or high refresh monitors, lol. And also, 10k likes doesn't mean it's 10k tanksful people, it's just 10k likes on a fucking YT video. Jesus. How long you on internet?

THANK YOU! after a 5 6 days research i got the most fps gain from here. i still get stutters but the game is so playable now. thanks again
This guide actually *lowered* my fps, and made my game look worse.
don't expect FPS to come out of nowhere. The only safe things should be full screen optimization and dvr/prior, the rest doesn't really do much to be honest. Also nvidia control panel should've been explained further in this guide as this probably worsens the quality of the image.
@@jakubvsv9305 it's gotten better now somehow, but I still get ~110 FPS at most on an 5950x and RTX 3090
@@connerdassen7808 ive asked few ppl and everybody told me that theyre getting less FPS in 12.12 somehow, ive also Heard that its better to put shadows on high in this patch and its true
So IT kinda sounds like its the game issue atm
Just a heads up, playing on borderless instead of fullscreen was capping my refresh rate to 60hz, even though I was getting 100+ fps and my monitor is 144hz.
Not sure this would be the same for everybody, but if your game doesn't feel smooth then this is why.
Hi thanks for the work done! I'm from youtuber "Mr Holodilnick"! Hello from Russia!
Some people are having issues which is what is keeping me from doing this. Saw a comment earlier about understanding your system and then adjusting each of the setting you did based on your own system instead of expecting the changes to affect everyone the same way.
Fps drops when i start moving around to 37 from 70 when I'm still
Any solution?
in nvidia application settings turn off v-sync and in game turn it on... this will turn off v-sync inputlag but remove stuttering and some of tearing.
i cant stress this enough that you have to put it in fullscreen mode. i was at 50-70 fps on a 1080 but now i'm at 140-54 fps
after fullscreen mode. TURN IT ON
thanks dawg, but now ive got nothin else to blame for dying except my own skill
Lmao
Does his system settings change for each game or is it all the same?
They're not all the same, like this new windows 10 update that he explains in the video you should now have Windows 10 Game mode -ENABLED. As it provides ur Pc with resources that help your games to be more stable :).
Dunno which step helped me the most, but thanks dude, like biggest thanks. Now tarkov runs decently and I can play.
Hi! Thanks for the work! I'm from youtuber "Mr Holodilnick" too! Hello from Russia!

maybe turn the anti aliasing mode up to taa high again, or increasing the resolution to 1920x1080 will help. for me the guide worked perfectly without any loss of graphics
