I watched Tamasha on the day my 10th’s board exams were finished. I remember I went to my room immediately after the movie ended and started writing my goals in a diary for the first time, because I was so motivated.
I don’t know if it played a role in it but in the next two years my life completely changed for the better because I actively worked for it.
After this movie’s failure and criticism, I stopped trusting the audience and always judged movies myself.
This movie is one of the top 5 Indian movies I have watched ever!

Tamasha is deep & inteligent film hai. Mehsoos karna padta hai.. esliye mass audiences ko shayad kam pasand aayi.. unko mostly spoons feed karna padta hai. Just like Jawan. Dekhte wakt Koi dimag nahi lagana hai, Mast music bhi hai, action bhi hai. & Star power bhi hai.

I dint understand the movie till I saw it for the third time.
I guess its beauty only comes out when viewer has experienced what the character goes through, and that is something one cant, unless they have experienced similiar situations.
