- ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದ ಫೇಮಸ್‌ ಸಾರು ಈ ಹುರುಳಿಕಾಳು (Horse gram) ಬಸ್ಸಾರು. ಹಲವು ಕಾಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸ್ಸಾರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರಾದರೂ, ಹುರುಳಿಕಾಳು ಸಾರು (Bassaru) ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪೆಷಲ್‌. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಕುದುರೆಗೆ ಸಿಗುವಷ್ಟು ಶಕ್ತಿ ಈ ಕಾಳಿನಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು (High protein) ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಆಹಾರ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ (Diet Conscious) ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ ಸಾರು ಇದು. ಈ ಬಸಿದ ಸಾರಿನ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ರಾಗಿ ಮುದ್ದೆ ಇದ್ದರಂತೂ, ತಿನ್ನುವವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರೇ ಗೇಣು ಎಂಬಂಥ ಅನುಭವ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇನ್ನು, ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಎಂದು ಬಂದಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲ ಈ ಬಸಿದ ಸಾರೇ ಎಲ್ಲ ಗೃಹಿಣಿಯರ ಮೊದಲ ಆದ್ಯತೆ. ಈ ಸಾಂಬರನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ರುಚಿಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಮಗಳು ಹಿತಾ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್‌ (Hitha Chandrashekhar) ಜೊತೆ ಸೇರಿ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನಟ ಸಿಹಿಕಹಿ ಚಂದ್ರು.
