I wanna see some megaloops with a trainer kite! Looks like Sunday around 1AM 65 gusting to 99 ought to be golden. Seriously though, I hope Irma lays off and just gives us some good kiting weather and nothing else.

    Hi!
Thanks for the tips, I am still a beginner, and I am looking for my first quiver.
My weight is 80 kg. I don't have a local spot and I need to travel to kite. So a lot of different situations. What do you think of a 7,10 kite quiver?
I would be pleased if you have the time to answer.
I am thinking of getting a Naish Pivot.

You are definitely covered for EVERY wind range that I know of. It must be confusing trying to figure out which kites to bring to the beach?! :-)

Nice tips but a bit advanced for a total beginner. I'm interested in this sport and I'm thinking about buying a kite but I am not sure where to start, would you have some advice for a beginner starting from scratch, knowing that there is no kiteboarding instructor nearby where I'm located.

Hello, we understand exactly how you feel. Most of us were in your shoes. There is a ton of information and it can get pretty confusing. Luckily there are lots of resources out there, but we are firm believers that if you can find a shop, or person (like us) that you can put some trust in, it will make your journey a lot easier and less costly. We obviously recommend lessons, but we also know that is not always possible. The best place to start is with a good quality kitesurfing trainer kite. 2 meters or 3 meters is all you need. Don't invest in a water relaunchable trainer (you won't use it as much as you think). Then when you are ready to buy a kite, we can help you based off of your riding locations, weight and local wind speeds.
Can you tell us a little about where you would be riding, how much you weigh and what you think the wind speeds are? We can give you some good ideas as to what you can expect to ride as far as kites, boards, and general equipment.
You can always call the shop or email us as well.
We can't wait to hear from you,
      Romann

321 Kiteboarding & Watersports hi, can you help me too. I am new and I want to buy my first kite and board.

Haha, maybe we should have added that no matter how big the gap in your quiver, 187mph is probably a bit much for any kite. Be safe out there!

So you have an 8 and a 12 ? I was opting in to a three kite quiver : 8-10-13,5 (usually more in strong winds )
