I’ve always had issues with that line too. In fact, I don’t sing it and I caution my people when they sing it because I should only bow to God and not some elders in some high places.

I have lived in three different continents. How would people of different languages relate to what he is singing if his songs are in Yoruba in a white dominated environment.
