Rick or Daryl or Glen from The Walking Dead. Rick is the alpha male despite his limited wardrobe but he makes it work for him. Might be interesting to explore why. Daryl just has women (and some men) swooning whenever he does or says (though he's not a talker), even though he tends to stay on the scruffier side of the spectrum. Glen started out as a delivery boy in a baseball cap. I noticed that when he first became a take charge kind of guy that women started to notice was LITERALLY when he took off the cap in a car and told Maggie that he was going to take care of her and everything was going to be okay. We started seeing him as a man in the group then, no longer a boy.
These videos are very interesting to me both as a man who wants to look his best/send certain signals with his style and as a wanna-be character designer who needs to understand how to convey certain attributes of a character with their visual design.

I think at this point they just can't be bothered to include Ghost in the story, if we saw him wandering around we'd probably expect Jon to have taken him beyond the wall this season, as well as just had him around as the loyal companion he is. Think back to Jon's resurrection - Ghost waking up essentially prompted him coming back to life, there's a very deep connection between the two which has been neglected due to time constraints more than budget.
