It was wonderful to see Earl. I have seen him in over 25 years. My parents were friends of theirs. In the prelude, one person who was overlooked was Andre Watts, who trained at Peabody, and who was likely the first person of color to perform at the Lyric Opera House when he gave his graduation performance.
A wonderful legacy
We are grateful she was born in, and always remembered, Baltimore
Fascinating story.
Sir Dru Hill is a R&B group
What an amazing story!!
Sure is!
Great story, however since you are a historian please don't conflate rap & R&B. Dru Hill are not rappers. They are R&B singers
Thank you for this correction!
