Let's compare beaches in Koh Samet. Ko Samet Island is a gorgeous island in the Southeast peninsula of Thailand. Take a tour with me and Artcharee around Rayong's island of Koh Samet. As we explore the beaches and nightlife, you can use this as your travel guide to the island. We also compare and explore many areas in Thailand.
Koh Samet is a popular island destination in Thailand, located in the Gulf of Thailand. It is part of the Khao Laem Ya-Mu Ko Samet National Park, which covers an area of 131 square kilometres. Koh Samet is known for its white sandy beaches, clear blue water, and diverse marine life. The island offers a variety of activities for visitors, such as snorkelling, diving, kayaking, hiking, and nightlife. Koh Samet is also a convenient getaway from Bangkok, as it is only about three hours by car and ferry from the capital city.

Spent time here late seventies, rented a grass covered hut with a mosquito screen in that first scene bay. Just beach and a hut here and there set back. It's seared into my memory.

Thats all I would need to be happy 👍 sounds like a great memory. The guy we went with said that it's changed a lot in 10 years ago from when he was last there. The mozzies are still there in high numbers though! 😬

Hello Doug. I went in November. July is the the start of Rainy season. You can go anytime and you’ll probably be alright but July has more of a risk of rain and typhoons. Ideally between November and April would be the best time 👍
