Thank you, Jonathan; just beginning to set up a 3000A motor on a Passap E6000 and this is helping me get started! Clint Hillman with Roclith Blankets USA
Oh this is so helpful. I was having a lovely time until I decided to add a colour and the machine took the first colour out and it broke the colour changer😢 Can I repair it? Also what main needs to be done on the motor?

Thank you Jonathan I found that really useful, I haven't used my machine. For a while and its a good refresher. Yesterday when I was knitting I added more stitches and forget to alter the width on the motor, so broke my plastic bit which engages the motor, hopefully it will glue because I don't think I can get another. Also I see you have the hague linker, mine is skipping stitches now and then, so annoying, any ideas how to correct this please.
Super helpful ! I have inherited a pass from my husband's grandmother and am really looking forward to playing around with it. Do you have any videos about making jacquards ? :)
how do you attach an Electra 3000 to a Pfaff electronic 6000 knitting machine any DVDs or anything I am stumped totally and it was for my elderly mother as she is a keen knitter but I am really struggling with the motor
Hi Michael, if you email me at crafty@jonathanscrafts.co.uk, I can try and help you further. I take it you have the white T stand that I have in the videos? Jonathan
You can still get the belts. I believe Anne Croucher in UK has a supplier. Plus Prelene in Switzerland also sell them I think. If you are on facebook ask to join the group "Ruth's Passap Machine Knitting". There are lots on there all over the world who can guide you to a local supplier.
Apologies but this was an incredibly quick video put together many years ago to give as the description says, a whistlestop tour of the functions of the motor. It was never intended to be comprehensive!
A great video Jonathan. Takes some of the fear out of the motor. You have a lovely machine.

Thanks very much for this intro to the 3000A motor -- every bit of info shared is helpful and appreciated :)
Great video brings up past memories of using the motor after a long lay off away from passap knitting with the motor.

Do you know of a video for setting up the motor on the stand and stuff?
Hi Steve. Were you able to find out how to set up the motor on the stand, particularly with the tension mast?
HI Please show the attachment of the motor rod (in which the rubber band runs)👍👍👍👍

I see you don't have much to do with videography! It would be nice if you could show the 2 collision points (Engine)
