I'm deeply moved by the lyrics of this song. They brought tears to my eyes, reminding me of the current state of Haiti. I moved to the US at the age of 7 and hold dear only beautiful memories of my birth country. I recall listening to this song with my parents as a child, and its meaning resonates so much more now. I'm disheartened that my children may never have the chance to experience the Haiti I knew.
I remember the early 2000's going to Haiti every summer vacation..Visit my uncles in Kenscoff.. Then I spend time with my grandparents in Mirebalais..Fete Saut D'eau every July..I miss that Haiti so much..🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹
