The nickname "glock killer " for the Canik suits it for a reason. You get more pistol for less money and a great trigger. A glock you have to add a trigger , glock is also dated . Since getting my Canik I've got 2 more of there models , they all great and priced below glock 👍
I use the TP9DA as my EDC specifically for the decocker. I'm not ashamed to say I've never been in a life or death (where a gun would make a difference, anyway), nor have I military training. This means to me that I really don't know how I'd react. Thus, the double-action first shot. If my sidearm is going to go BANG!, I don't want it to be from nerves or adrenaline, but rather because I had no other choice to stop a lethal threat to me or an innocent.
I live in Florida and paid about 500 bucks for mine but this gun has the best trigger on any gun that I've shot personally but it's not as accurate as my tp-9sfx
What I think about it I like it I got used to the trigger real quick didn't take me too long 5 minute to learn my trigger I love how my tp9da functions very nice
Please don't press the trigger repeatedly when showing how it works. Just press it like you are going to fire, that will better show how crisp and smooth it is. Otherwise, very good presentation. Thank you.
I've had mine and shoot on a regular basis at the range I love how it shoots and feels in my hands I'm small framed but have large hands so it fits perfectly in my hands They now sell magazine for it and unlike Glock the mags work with all 3 models.
Woogie boogie- There is no safety. Thats why it is also double action when you decock it. The longer trigger pull is to make you more comfortable carrying it. I know im late but good luck if you picked one up.
Believe in Jesus Christ and you will have Everlasting Life, to believe in someone, you are convinced that they are true. If you Believe in Jesus Christ, you will be Saved by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in Jesus Christ Alone, John 3:16, KJV. Once you are Saved, you are always Saved, John 6:37, KJV...................
It is very poor pistol in start. You will miss your fire again and again. New pistol is very sensitive about ammonition.Very hard spring which needs a powerfull ammo. It will take at least 124 grains ammo. You have to fire almost 200 to 250 rounds then its spring will become smoth & soft. Genrally this problim is common in all canik pistols. Manufacturers must have to improve this.

Agree on the decocker for safe carry. Innovative feature.✅
My Canik TP9DA has been my preferred EDC now for several years and I do carry it in DA first shot mode. Absolutely LOVE it!!!
I own a Canik TP9DA and a TP9SF, both superb modern combat handguns. Nothing but praises.
What holster you got for your tp9 da
@@ernestwashington8609 The one supplied by Canik. It works fine
Nice to see a new video on the platform, solid review as always.

it's a walther P99 clone. the firing mechanism and internals are nearly identical. IIRC the manufacturing was licensed from walther.
That's what makes Canik so great! For less money than a Walther.
I would say it's an improved Walther P99! Love my Canik TP9!
Love mine😊

Love the new intro!
Great video man, question can the tp9 da use other canik magazines ?
Yes.
I know im late but itll take the tp9sfx 20 rd mags
Great video. But why do you keep comparing everything to Glocks?
Bcoz most are familiar with glock...
Where is the safety switch
