Hi Carolina, I fell in love with this little sweater when I first watched this tutorial. So, I started a 0-3 mos size this afternoon. I'm planning on giving it to one of my Drs who is expecting his first grand baby in August. I also want to make one for one of my highschool friends who just added a new granddaughter to her collection. Lol! She now has 3. 😊
I am so thank full for your tutorials ,you are clear on the instructions.I cannot seem to follow a pattern (reading) so having you do it is so awesome . So far you are the only one I can find who does full tutorials .Thank you so much .Would you consider doing a tutorial knitting a pull over sweater for newborns.Again thank you so much for taking the time to do teach us 😁
Hi Carolina thank you so much what a beautiful soothing ,charming voice I wish your are school teacher Children will be so happy you’re great teacher thank you happy weekend lots of love Ramya
It's a beautiful little project for little ones and I'm loving making it. Just a bit of confusion, in the front right part the second butthole row should have the hole along the slanting part but it's at the end part in video and the pattern. Am I missing something?
Hi dear friend, Just now I saw your tutorials of Baby Kimono and so nicely you are explaining every details of that and I like it very much. Because if you are explaining everything about knitting, stitching, painting or any other kind of arts so that person can understand very well and can follow your instructions. Right! And that’s the Beauti of how to explain. There is question for you that do you know how To knit topdown sweater? If yes then can you explain same way as you are explaining for Babies Kimono? The thing is I’m a 72 years old lady and I know How to knit but I don’t know how to knit topdown sweater but I really wants to learn so I Can Knit topdown sweater for a little girl who’s father is been helping me a lot. Hello, thank you for this pattern...so I see there are three button holes, two at the bottom and the third hole should be on the decrease side?? on the video it looks like it will be on the seam side?? HELP
Hi! What happened was that I made two kimonos at the same time, and when recording the video (knitting the pink one), I changed the buttonhole row without realizing. So if you want to have the second buttonhole on the diagonal side (as the beige kimono), do the following: K2, yo, sd, K to end. If you want to have 2 buttonholes on the second rows as per the first buttonhole row, then do this: K2, yo, sd, K to last 4, k2tog, yo, K2. Whatever you prefer ;) Happy knitting 🤗
Hello... I m knitting this sweater with available yarn and size 9 (3.75mm) circular needles.. I started off with 81 stitches for cast on and doing the back... To continue further can you guide me with the remaining numbers where to start arm holes and how many stitches to leave for back and arm hole and front sides as well
TheQazwer123 Regarding the right front section of the pattern: the second buttonhole row reads “k1, sd, k to last 4, k2tog, yo, k2”. This puts the buttonhole on the inside of this piece instead of the front edge. Am I reading this wrong or is this an error in the pattern? Thanks
By the way I did make this last year in 6-12 month size and it came out beautiful. I am now at third button hole and am just needing clarification on where to place it as it appears it should be on the trim side an not the end. Thanks so much.
I just knit the two front panels. I don’t know what went wrong but there are not enough rows to get down to 10 stitches by the end. In decreasing by 1 stitch on every odd row I was left with way too many stitches at the top. It would take about 58 rows to decrease from 39 stitches to 10, am I right? What have I done wrong?
@@sowoolly Hi, 21 st by 31 rows measures 4” x 5.125”. Using #7 needles. I have no idea what to do given that only one dimension is off. Would larger needles work? Thank you.. I’m new to knitting but have done several of your patterns successfully.
Hi my self Geetanjali Bakshi how are you can you tell me if I want to make same jacket for my mom is it possible to make with 100 border plz plz reply back to me as soon as possible tkc good morning
The whole information is on my website, please click here to read the instructions: sowoolly.net/baby-kimono-cardigan-jacket-knitting-pattern-so-woolly/
Hola, creo que están mal las disminuciones para la talla más grande... lo hice como decía disminuyendo cada vuelta non, pero entonces la diagonal no queda en el ángulo correcto y no coincide la altura del hombro. ¿Me podrías ayudar por favor?
Hola, lo he tejido dos veces, y no he tenido problemas. Buena suerte!
I calculated this pattern for those 2 sizes only, but please go to the written instructions and check the measurements, maybe the 0-3 months size fits your requirements.
Question: on the left front side, armhole section, do you bind off 2 stitches on every row except the purl row? Mine isn't coming out right. Thank you!
Can you tell me how many stitches there are left after binding off the first two rows for the back armhole? I am doing the bigger size and I have cast on 51 stitches. I have 47 stitches but yours said 43? Pls explain. Thank you.

Πολύ ωραία 🌹🌹🌹🤩
What happens the yarn I want to use is gauge 22 stitches and 28 row? Should I need to use one size up to 3 to 6 month or change the needle?
Wonderful!!! Please tell me, what if I wanted to make one for myself! Do you have instructions for adult mail?
Thanks, but not for this one. Another one for adults is coming soon 😉
Buttonhole on right front is on wrong edge. 😢😢😮
Are the cast on and cast off number of stitches for the body the same for both sizes? On your website I only see changes for the sleeve sizes.
No, for the smaller size you have to cast on 39 st; for the larger size, 51 st
How many stiches remains before armhole decrease
Can you pls tell the number of stitches for 3-4 years girl
I calculated the pattern for 2 sizes only
Please l want to knit thru same jacket two sizes bigger and I want the exsat number for the third size of the same model 🎉
Love this pattern where can I download the pattern? Thanks
Thanks! You can’t, but you can read it on my website (find the link below the video, on the description box) 😉

what does "piece measures 14,5 (18) cm in total" mean
The piece is your knit work, and you have to measure it from the CO edge (where you started).
@@sowoolly Is 14,5 cm for smaller size and 18 cm for larger size?
Exactly
can I just get the pattern please
