Bleach bath is lightner developer and clarifying shampoo. Is the proper way to do a bleach bath. Blonde me 9 is tge best bleach it lifts 9 levels. Paul Mitchell clarifying shampoo Paul Mitchell purple shampoo and conditioner to cancel out the yellow under tones. Fyi cosmetology student

When I was teaching how to do this technique (we would call this a “Color Cleansel to not scare the client) and we had multiple “recipes”. The only thing suggested was to use a shampoo that hydrates. Depending on how strong / how many levels you wanted to lift depended on strength of developer as well as if just shampoo or shampoo and water. For example to “bump” only a level or 2, it would be an ounce of powder lightener, 2 oz developer (20vol), 2 oz warm water and 1-2 oz shampoo. We found Using a purple shampoo wasted it. The bleach “eats” through the hair thus negating what the purple shampoo does. Rinse using the purple shampoo. I do like the blonde me..lm not a fan of Wella blondor, guy tang gave good results, same as joining blonde life. Hope you’re enjoying school!

The shampoo method makes a lot of sense because you want the hair to still be soft

It's a game changer and the shampoo might be a better mix. It has more slip. I dont like quickblue for this same reason. Too grainy

I have a question and it might sound silly but do yew use any product to make the curls last? Like when someone buys a curled wig like this do they have to keep on curling it themselves?

You use shampoo because of the stripping agents in it. Shampoo helps open the cuticles of the hair as well. I like to use alot of shampoo to help give it a runny consistency ! @yesKianaDoesMyHair_
