Best value for money bike you would go for Yamaha FZ25...a bit cheaper good perfornance and mileage. And better one higher priced though is Honda CB 350RS if you like sporty and Highness if you like relaxed long rides...But if you go for highness then better go for RE Meteor 15k higher priced on rd. But you get a stunning looking bike with performance.
IT'S A BIG GAME CHANGER. for 3 reasons : 1) for the affordable price 2) for the quality, smoothness and speed 3) because NOW you have the original bike company in India not the old broken copy that didn't' evolved (Royal Enfield). It's a nightmare for Mister LAL. Why ? 1) because King T has entered the arena. 2) coz RE decided to promote & sell in the West (europ-USA) and this West is collapsing economically. 3) RE bikes are heavy and slow, it's in their DNA.
While as we appreciate Triumph and Bajaj for offering a quality product in Indian market. We should also criticize all other brands like RE, Jawa, Hero and rest for offering sub standard bikes in terms of fit and finish. For most of these brands, they believe Indian customers can get over with slightly lower quality. No matter what price, each and every product we consume or buy should be at par with products internationally only then we can improve ourselves. Recently, went to all car showrooms to buy a car, most of the Indian brands like Tata, Mahindra, MS lacked that quality products. Typical Indian mentality of accepting things even if they are not perfect. However Volkswagen literally blew everything in terms of quality similar to this Triumph. Only because Germans and Japanese are very particular in their product. As we celebrate Triumph for 400s launch, the local brands should up their game here in terms of quality for sure. Else we will always be "sub standard". This should be applied to every consumer product!
How is this compared with Honda Hness, I have Hness but I am not happy with it's power (20 Hp). But refinement of Honda is excellent. Should I compromise refinement because of extra 20 Hp?
Only thing in this 1 you have is the best engine...be happy about it. Or go for Meteor 650 .Its comparable with CB350 RS. But not with highness. Seating is better and relaxed in highness.. I found Highness/ RS overpriced so didn't buy although went to big wings. But Honda quality no one can beat in India not even Yamaha. I am not sure if we get Honda Rebel 300/500 anytime...then you can go for it. Thats the baap for RE.

As per your question about lo power(20 HP ) comparatively. Then similar you can check Harley Davidson 440X. Its similar engine long stroke ans speed is short stroke engine revv more to get power. 440X is more torquey..at lo rpm 3000 rpm max torque. Thats we see on specifications. But you ride it and will understand the feel if you have what you want as you have already ridden cb350. Plus 440cc from single cylinder engine is good. I like the exhaust note too.

Speed 400 is all rounder. X440 is all about low speed cruising also it struggles after 120kmph and top speed is 135kmph. Speed 400 does 0-100 in 6 secs and top speed is 170kmph which it does without sweat so I think triumph and bajaj just nailed it with speed 400 with everything perfect at a perfect price

Depends on your requirement if you want a big bike harley will fit better small and compact go for Triumph but test ride both the bikes you will get an idea...and don't trust people saying Definitely Triumph

Dude, first it’s not a sports bike. Secondly for a roadster, you need its rear brakes to have better feel and bite as you are essentially going to ride it on regular roads with all sorts of conditions. It’s not a tract tool.
