Thank you for your review. The negative points you have spoken about I have felt same problem with my dominar 400, I think Bajaj engineering team still need to find solution or fine tuning their electronics systems.

Is it a competition to RE 650cc twins? How well or worse is it compared to them?
How does the headlight perform in the night? Are they adequate? With LEDs it is nearly impossible to upgrade with bulbs.

Can't understand why they compromised with a dent like cavity on the tank to accommodate the handle swing ,and secondly the back seat looks a tad higher and as a result the bigger gap between the tyre and seat ,could have been avoided I guess.

How is this compared with Honda Hness, I have Hness but I am not happy with it's power (20 Hp). But refinement of Honda is excellent. Should I compromise refinement because of extra 20 Hp?
Only thing in this 1 you have is the best engine...be happy about it. Or go for Meteor 650 .Its comparable with CB350 RS. But not with highness. Seating is better and relaxed in highness.. I found Highness/ RS overpriced so didn't buy although went to big wings. But Honda quality no one can beat in India not even Yamaha. I am not sure if we get Honda Rebel 300/500 anytime...then you can go for it. Thats the baap for RE.

As per your question about lo power(20 HP ) comparatively. Then similar you can check Harley Davidson 440X. Its similar engine long stroke ans speed is short stroke engine revv more to get power. 440X is more torquey..at lo rpm 3000 rpm max torque. Thats we see on specifications. But you ride it and will understand the feel if you have what you want as you have already ridden cb350. Plus 440cc from single cylinder engine is good. I like the exhaust note too.
In terms of ride quality, x440 is better or speed 400?
Speed 400 is all rounder. X440 is all about low speed cruising also it struggles after 120kmph and top speed is 135kmph. Speed 400 does 0-100 in 6 secs and top speed is 170kmph which it does without sweat so I think triumph and bajaj just nailed it with speed 400 with everything perfect at a perfect price
What about the suspension setup is it hard or soft or medium in nature ?

why manufacturers are not offering a good 200-300-400 cc twin cylinder engines in such cruiser/sports bikes like Ninja 300 ?? and when specially Triumph has skilled expertise in twin cylinder machines !!
Then on-road Price would be 4L and no one would buy it. Just have a look at Ninja300 sales figures and r3 sales figures whenever it launches.
same engine and same characteristics, just some minor engineering(left right etc) changes, bore is kept same as dominor and stroke is increase to accomadate 25 cc
