One thing about chronic pain is that it’s super expensive. I make below livable wage for my area and have had chronic neck pain for the past 4 years or so. I don’t have the money for cupping, acupuncture, or massages even though I am in a lot of pain. To me, this is super important to remember. Some/many people have chronic pain AND are low income (and might even have to do manual labor for work). Keep that in mind 😊

I'm on disability but work doing house cleaning on the side despite my chronic pain. Can't afford not to work. Trying to deal with chronic pain treatment in Canada as well is just disgusting. It's pretty much impossible if you live below the poverty line like us low income people. It's ridiculous. They really need to cover more under medical for chronic pain. So many hoops and so much red tape..

The Try Guys and Eurovison is the crossover we (mostly europeans) need!!!
PSA what Keith was saying at the end about Gagnamagnið (aka Daði Freyr + the crew) getting 4th place in Eurovison because no one else would sing Dadys song is not exactly true.
That first year that Keith was talking about (2019) they came second in the Icelandic National Final (they did not go to Eurovision).
The next year (2020) they won the Iceland NF and were the favorites to win the whole Eurovision contest with the song "Think about things"! But oh-no covid appeared and the contest didn't happen :(
So in 2021 they went back and got 4th place with the song "10 Years" without even performing live (because a member of the group got covid).
Eurovision is a wonderful thing, i encourage everyone to join the party!

The mouth ridges are there for a reason, they’re called the “organs of speech”. They include the tongue, lips, teeth, hard palette (the hard part of the roof of your mouth), the soft palette (further back on the roof of your mouth, your tongue would touch it when making “ng” sounds) and the alveolar ridge which is the ridgey bit directly behind your front teeth. They’re there to help us make certain sounds when we speak! 😊

As a current dental hygiene student, the “ridges” on the palate of our mouths are called rugae. Our palates form when the baby is formed in embryo and the ridges are there to help in directing food in the correct direction of our throats. Any damage/burns to the palate usually heal within days-weeks but if it was particular bad burn then you will feel the circular pattern.

Schools closing is usually up to the school board but the state sets temperature regulations for cold. I believe the rule for schools closing in Michigan is -32 Fahrenheit. Pretty much every year there'd be a couple snow days (like if it snowed over a for overnight) and a couple legally required cold days.

Indy has a great zoo and Children’s museum, so we go visit a couple times a year. Last time we found an Airbnb very close to Shapiro’s Deli just so we could easily go there for several meals - it’s so good! They also have an awesome German restaurant called The Rathskeller.

for what it's worth, youtube music has songs that spotify doesn't. that includes what dreams are made of by hilary duff from the lizzie mcguire movie, and I remember zach mentioned that it is NOT on spotify. so if you switch to youtube music for anything, make it for hilary duff.

Captian Crunch has a place in trail mix! I made up a trail mix for my kid with honey nut cheerios, pretzles, honey roasted peanuts, caramel popcorn and marshmallows. Not sure if that is technically trail mix anymore but it was freaking delicious.

I love the 2nd try dynamic but working there would be terrible on weekends I’d be explaining to my friends that I got off early but I had to drive to the worst airport to bring my boss his passport like I obviously have no idea about what 2nd try is actually like but if that isn’t startup culture and weird organizational structure to THE CORE

Zac needs to listen to Short King Anthem by TMG. (Noel Miller and Cody Ko). He would love it! All of you guys would. Thank you for always making me laugh. You guys are brilliant!

the cat cafe in tallahassee is the first one i went to but from what i hear is one of the best on this side of the country? it has its own legitimate cafe in the front and behind a glass wall is the cat room. you can only bring in paper cups to the cat room & no food. they do adopt their cats out, but they don’t advertise that. they didn’t mention anything to us about adoption until halfway through our visit & they claim to try to use the cat room as a “vetting” area, to see how you interact & if they even want to bring up the adoption opportunity. it is a very clever way to get shelter cats adopted out in a way that allows you to feel like it’s a fun date or event.
