I was there with my Dad, Papa, and Sister and we all went crazy. It was so loud. The UCLA fans in front of us were gracious though. This is memory I’ll never forget. Such a beautiful day.

I remember watching this when I was 7. This was my first full season as an ND fan (I live in California, both parents went to Purdue... hence the Indiana connection) I remember after the game I was going out to a fancy dinner with my family and extended family, and refused to leave the house without my Jeff Samarzidja jersey on!!

Honestly, Charlie had some flaws but after David and Willingham, Charlie definitely brought hope back…with the recruiting mess he had to deal with alone I think he did better than he’s given credit for. Ultimately, his ego got in the way of being better…but definitely nit the worst coach ever for our Irish

This was supposed to be my first ever game in South Bend, however I was still acting like an idiot and was incarcerated so I missed this fantastic game. I also had payed a ticket agancy $500 this was for the bus ride to South Bend two nights in a hotel room plus the tickets to the game. I never did get reembersed. The only good thing about this was I have not been back to jail since I learned my lesson grew up and all it took was a missed Notre Dame game to finally knock some sense into me lol.

Always great to watch the Irish perform surgery on an opponent in the waning moments of any contest. That's not completely true. Tearing their hearts out and watching the deflation is the reckoning I enjoy.

This team could of had a real chance at an NC those couple years, the Bush push will forever haunt me. It’s something about this decade too, it was the last of a certain era of CFB. To me it’s not been the same, It’s just more about the coaches & athletes, not so much about the team, tradition, & universities anymore. It’s only going to get worse with how the rules have changed now, maybe it’s for the better for athletes long term, but it makes me think maybe all professional sports should have a minor/amateur/feeder league to remedy the issue of what CFB has turned into

Hey, that reminds me of 1975. Matt Leinart to Dwayne Jarrett with about a minute left. Then Leinart to Bush, and finally Leinart scores on the QB keeper!
USC wins 34-31. The Irish are humiliated, once again, in front of the home crowd.

Irish eyes are still cryin' about that one! What about:
    2002. USC 44 - nd 13
    2003. USC 45 - nd 14
    2004. USC 41 - nd 10
    2005. USC 31 - nd 34 (Thanks, Reggie!)
    2006. USC 44 - nd 24
    2007. USC 38 - nd 0 (at home!)
    2008. USC 38 - nd 3
We are ND. It's so embarrassing.
