The weight difference could be the amount of oil in the shocks, solder on the connections...? Regardless of any minor weight differential, I think the twins are as close to an ideal means of conducting head-to-head testing under controlled conditions as possible.
I see where power hobby has the brass weights for the Meus axles they are also selling the axles under the name as well good luck and keep up the good content
I have the Fusks on Canyon Customs Super soft with the filter media and they are beasts. And I have all the Jconcepts tires and 3 d printed inserts and performance per$$$ the Fusks are amazing.
I would try pins on da front n da other on da rear......I av a theory about narrow tyres being better a clining on in a climb n fatter tyres av more surface area to plant it during a climb............
Maybe paint the shock towers red and blue to know who is who? For the transmitter, maybe the antenna? A pin tire is a pin tire, it will always be better. But who wants a pin tire on a scale rig? It all depends on what do you want to do with it
So might I suggest proline boggers or mudslingers, cut all of the small lugs out and then test them again. Like a before and after. Think how much better the canyon trails are when cut.
Regarding the hex fitment, I have found out some are made to metric specs and some are made to SAE spec. Thereby giving like 3 or 4 thousandths interference fit. Some of the chinese companies want to fit wheels for Traxxas and some want to fit wheels to Vanquish type hubs. But none of them are listed as such.
Just like mosquito flies go for warmth and veins near surface on ankle. Also saw a bug avoid blue and crawl to red. Interesting test. I like the comp pins but I dislike how it oversteers. If they had a slight bigger pins as a side lug that would be interesting
It's not 100% complete (you need screws, nuts, shock seals, assorted odds and ends) but a few have already built from this list: www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/N3QAGDRG15FC?ref_=wl_share
The 95s are the ones that need the least work to get them proper. The shorter ones come with the wrong length shafts. You need a TRA2362 and a TRA2669 for each pair of shocks (so two packages of each)
So I just ordered an SCX10 Pro. I searched and you don't seem to have any vids about it. I have a VRD ( bought a Stance and found out I shoulda bought the kit lol), excellent platform. But I'm intrigued about the SCX10 Pro shifting Overdrive and possibilities in building.
I had one of backorder from Amain (I pre-ordered) for like 12 or 13 weeks. I gave up and cancelled it, and it because available a few days later. I had already moved on. I had a guy offer to send me his for testing (multiple times) and nothing ever came of it. I could count on one hand how many times someone has asked me about the 10 Pro. It seems to have been pretty quickly forgotten.
@@CrawlerCanyon The one thing that got me about it was that I love the old Axial, Before the Horizon dark times lol. But that shiftable OD seems like a great feature for me. I'm in eastern VA where there's swamps and mud. And an hours drive I can get to rocky creek beds and elevation. I had some initial hesitation bc I don't like the behind the axle servo, but with a little more money I could Amazon a low profile servo. I think it would be a good choice for some content on your channel. Maybe contact Axial (Horizon) and maybe get one free. Your channel is big enough without corporate help. If its shit on your terrain trash it in a video. I trail, I crawl, I dirt. And the kid in me does some bashing with my MT10 and Vorteks.
Super cheap stock foam tim tims. Cut off the outer 10mm from a stiff foam and wrap with a donut. There's a 40min video at zero expense! One day I'll get you to try them.. ;)
@@TheOtherSock-728 if you want to get really fancy, cut the outer off in a slight v towards the middle, it'll help hold the donut central and flatten off the profile a little
Actually discovered it in the past, when I ordered one of those Yeah Racing alloy wheels that comes with a bunch of adapters. Radiolink is indeed Futaba mounting shape.
Why not swap two of the heavier lipped wheels and have two on each rig? Look like the same wheels, just different rings. Throw them on the fronts for more fwd weight
I'm actually less worried about the 7.5g per corner from the wheels than I am about the 9g on the chassis, even though I know that's borderline looney. I think in the end I'll just have to Elsa that sh*t.
On a ground vehicle I wouldn’t chase 9g. But a drone or a sandwich or weed, 9g could get you cancelled
Congrats on 1k! Pretty sure I've seen them all.
I know pins work, but I just can't. The tires on my trucks need to look like a real tire.
Congratulations on 1k videos I bet I've watched 97% of them lol and I don't even crawl anymore.
The pins wear out quick and suck. The Fusk keep getting better and better and better.

40:56 was running thru my head from about the 2nd event. It’s like you read my mind.
(shimmed Injora in the Fusk)
Please do the follow up.
I painted my remote , Came out nice. Silver inner rotor-Blue rim.
This is what I was thinking
Thanks Mr.C.
Gotta say I'm very taken with the Fusk, especially when you can get them from Ali to the UK for less than £15/set ($18)
Love the tape job on the transmitters. Kudos where they are due, that was an awesome idea.

Did you forget to add 15grams of grease to them? Front axle one, rear the other? ;)
Could also put two wheels with the slot clearances on one truck and the two wheels on the other truck
Awesome comparison. As scientific as it can get. 👍🏾💯🔥
It’s the action figure. One is more dense than the other
Just swap a pair of reds wheels with blues. Then they'll each have 2 heavy and 2 light wheels.

I have the injora on a homemade wraith and am impressed by the performance!
of course they are not the prettiest…

Red tape and blue tape to mark the chassis
Swap rings on 2. Put the no grooves pn the front of each. Grooves on the rears?
Yes, this is why the twins exist.

Colored sinked screw washers on chassis to tell them apart
Reminds me destro an cobra commander 💯👍

I would love to see a comp capable rig from Amazon and not use the big manufacturers. Having a complete buy list would be awesome also.

Could you change the red and blue rings on 2 of the rims and put the rims with the groove in the back of both
Morning gents, 😊
Great episode. Turtles all the way down!
👍
For fake dravtec shocks, what size is the one that gets full compression and what rebuild kit do you use?

1k go go go Mr C the hardest working man on YT, as for the brothers why don't you put a red case servo on the red one
What chassis are the twins built upon? Thanks for all the vids!
They're VS4-10 chassis, but I wasn't particular. I got these for free.

Blue Knuckles on blue, red is already red.
I don't think blue exists, so they're going be boring black.
Are you going to quick(re)view the vanquish H10 optic? i steering link looks cool but i think there is to much going on

In the future you discover that radiolink will accept a futaba style wheel 👍

Just get both sets of tires and build two rigs! Or maybe build 50 rigs and get alllll of the tires !!! Hahhaha!
im sure your OCD will find the 9grams😅
