Alot of work money, and many hours to make it just right.
Its amazing how you manuvered setting the poles in.
I have seen folks drive poles in without filling the claws with dirt only to see failures . I was impressed the way you set each one in the ground that way.
Remarkable work will pay off when completed. I will be watching this project with anticipation of viewing completion. As always tfs.🙂

It takes so much time to do projects like this. If you love it then it’s all good.
Filling the bucket with dirt and closing the thumb significantly reduced the stress on the machine. Pounding on stuff with an empty bucket is a sure way to have a failure. Thanks

These shorter days are making it tough to get much done during the week. Seems like everything will have to happen on weekends or off days.

"Mad Skills" on the back hoe. Interesting watching how the transit(?) works to transfer elevation measurements. I love the project builds and the explains to the why's of the project. Why couldn't you stand in the water to set some poles by hand?

It’s a shelf, so the water gets about 6-8 feet deeper. I wouldn’t have enough reach with my mini excavator to reach the top of the longer poles. Stay tuned to see the finished product. When I dig the pocket around the dock it will make more sense. Thanks for watching!
