  • Today, I ride one of my favorite trails in Sedona. Mescal is one of the most scenic and popular trails in Sedona. The trail is a mix of smooth clay-packed singletrack and slickrock with minor technical segments. About mid-way along the trail, where it follows a bench below a cliff face, the trail partitions into parallel options: an intermediate and an expert optional line. Today, I session both options, giving viewers an ideal of whether the harder lines suit their skill level.

Great job with your brake control on the roll Ron. I learned how to do that watching Nic from VanCan channel, Dale Stone, and Dangerous Dave from up your way. I can't wait to get out to Sedona and ride this trail. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the compliment! But, Nic, Dale and Dave are way more skilled than I am...and when they ride those skinnies...it makes me cringe...but nice to be in the conversation. Those harder lines on Mescal definitely spice up an awesome day on the bike! Thanks for watching!

Awesome ride and video. Beautiful views. That would be a double black trail here in middle Georgia 😂. Pedal safe

Thanks for the compliment! And yes, amazing views…that’s why it’s one of my favorites in Sedona. And very cool to have optional lines to ride which makes it more suitable to a wider group of riders! Thanks for watching!
