Steve Smith was one of the hardest players ever. Bringing his toughness and attitude would be a real plus.

I agree 3, but really, if healthy, these guys are all the same = backup level. My hope is watching Tyrod run the offense (while running for his life) gave DJ a chance to see the down field opportunities that he always failed to see under center (while running for his life) and even though I want him gone, hopefully he can play well enough to facilitate the development of our young WRs. If he sucks again, just pull him, it doesn't matter much who starts, their talent levels are about the same.
The team needs depth especially for a team that finished in the top with the most injury prone teams in the league

With DJ as the QB, I don’t think slayton will produce similar numbers this year. Now with gunner banged up; we need depth on this team. We’re in a rebuild so we’re not going to the Super Bowl this year

Unless he plays QB like Jake Delhomme in his prime and is throwing to Nabers, what difference? Nabers is pro ready and is already being praised for his work ethic. What will hold him back is our sub-par QB room.

Slaton is one of my favorite Gmen. I dont want him to leave .
And at the moment, our best WR the last few years who also erased his drops problem last year from 10% to 3%. If he went to KC instead of all of our other WRs lol, people would see. He would be a lock for 70/1100/10 with a good QB. Maybe more TDs with a QB who could capitalize on his speed
@ericbutler739 I agree with that except for putting the blame on DJ. I strongly believe the Giants offensive stagnation is mostly due to having the worst oline in the NFL.
@@zakkback1825 I get the argument that DJ hasn't had a good surrounding cast. But he hasn't elevated either and this point whether it's the chicken or the egg, he is broken and breaks often. His breakout season was 15 TDs and the following year he was horrible and his backups looked better. I understand he faced tougher teams, but he just isn't the guy, the whole world sees it except Giants fans.

Having our guards play basically out of position and not on the respective sides they prefer and have experience at is dumb! I’m tired of our head coach getting a pass too, it’s on him. His first dumb and insane decision was having our CB1 return a punt.

Real life: Hyatt can't get off the line yet vs. man press. He isn't ready. I'm sure Nabers will work it out, but at this moment Slayton is our only WR who can get into his route vs press.
