Christian, I am biased in what I’m saying being your fan number 1. But man, listen. There are tons of RUclipsrs now talking watches. But the conversations I see here are simply the best. This channel is all about being frank, passionate, kind and rude when it needs to happen. This channel is tears for a big laugh or for incredible touchy moments. What you guys share here is simply modern poetry. Love you guys ❤. Many things resonate with me. Thank you!
I own 2 gmts 1 I've had for 25 years. I I've had for a year. The first I is a 1992 and the other is a fat lady from 1988. Which one do think is my favorite.?
Spot on. Anyone can talk facts about watches, but it's the opinions and the way they're expressed on this channel and a select few other favourites of mine that keep me coming back. I enjoy the company.
I have only recently started watching your podcasts due to my interest in watches and having collected watches for the past 30 years, in Australia. Your podcasts standout to me because you come across as true and honest. You don’t just talk about watches or you always have a connection to life through the watch. But l love the podcast you did with your dad…. The true love and connection you have with him is awesome. Keep up the great work and always stay true to yourself. One day l would love to buy a watch from you.😊
My mother bought me a second hand 1964 Rolex GMT when I graduated from High school. It’s been the heartbeat of my life in so many ways and I would never sell it. This reminds me of the day when my mother gave me that watch. Great channel. You guys get it. Chapeau.
Watching father and son trade watches is just incredible. So simple but so profound. Thank you for inviting us in and sharing this conversation/moment.
May just be the best episode yet! Absolutely love when Christian and Rollie pair up for liquor run! I actually was smiling at my phone it was so good. Well done T&H Lifelong subscriber here!
Absolutely love this. I got my dad into watches a few years back and him and i know own our very own Rolex's that we both purchased from the same AD. I love seeing this. it reminds me of when him and i get together and just chat about watches and our success. Love it!
I know you are already, but you should be very grateful for the relationship you have with your dad. To be able to sit down and have a genuine and deep conversation like this is very special
Believe me people still do feel like this about buying a watch. Financial I'm obviously not in as good a position as many on here, but I'm not completely poor. I spent 2 years saving up for the Blackbay 58 (blue) . In those 2 years I was obsessed with it, thought it was one of the most beautiful watches I'd ever seen. When I finally had the funds ( a lot of money for me) I was so pleased with my purchase. Had the watch 6 months now, and love it even more. Those feelings are still there for many of us
My favorite episodes are the ones with you and your father. Perhaps because I have sons your age and the time sitting and chatting about life can be special. I used to sit on the porch with my father-in-law and have these same conversations. Its because of shows like this that I bought all of my step-sons a Baume & Mercier last year for Christmas. Not brand I would normally choose, however my wife's maiden name is Cllifton, and B&M have their Clifton Series, so that was the driving factor in purchasing the brand. They all love their new automatic watches. Keep putting up great content!!! Especially with your Pops.
Been a fan since 20k subs or less. I loved this segment because beyond the love of watches and booze it shows the love between father and son. I wish I had this type of relationship with my pops. God bless your family and Merry Christmas.
So happy to see your dad come back, and love the reason for this video. I’m a sentimental Rolex guy like you, and I’m so happy for you now that you now have this connection to your pops. I never had it with my dad, although I do have his wedding watch, a 1963 LeCoultre, since he passed away 7 years ago. But I have two sons of my own, and God willing, I’ll sit with them one day and have a moment like this where we come together over a meaningful watch. Congrats on your new GMT, but more importantly, good on you for the motivation behind it and it’s connection the this important man in your life.
I have a decent collection of watches including Day Dates, PP Nautiluses, VC, etc. My first nice watch was a 1675 GMT when I was 15 and it’s long gone but my family surprised me for my 50th with a ceramic GMT. It’s now one of my most important watches. Means the world to me.
It’s so nice to see this material. It’s so clear that Christian looks up to Rollie so much. So nice to see dads and sons with mutual respect and love. Father treating his kid like an adult with mutual respect is so nice to see. Cheers gentlemen, keep this style up. Love it
This video touches my heart. My son Michael and I share the same watch relationship. we have 4 rolex 1 16710, 1 brand new Sprite, 1 datejust 1601, and 1 1803. 3 Omega Speedmasters vintage and a few others in our collection. I am 71 and he is 22. We share the same passion for these watches. All will be his someday. My Grandchilden in the future will have this wonderful collection and so on and so on. Thants Christian and your Father for blessing us with this.
Nice to see you having a great relationship with your dad. Cherish the moments. My father passed away last April and I now wish that I had spent more time with him when he was around I still have my first Rolex which my father bought me as my graduation gift some30 years ago. . BTW, we always enjoy watching liquor run episodes.
Christian, love the interplay with your Dad. It is great that you have interests in common. Not really something I experienced in my life - but good for you, that you have. Love you guys.
Another refreshing, honest and loving video. As I've mentioned many times, these Liquor Run videos were my son and my anticipated weekly bonding over our love of watches. Like Rollie's GMT, these videos are our fondest memories about watches. Salud my friend and love to the family.
Protect Rollie at all costs! It’s rare that I smile while watching RUclips channels. Liquor Run is always the exception! Great conversation Christian. You two are so lucky to have such a great relationship with each other. Cherish it. It’s rarer than any of our watches are.
Been watching for months and this is my first post. Hands down my favorite video. Nothing like spending time with your old man! Cherish the time. But Christian, try to let him get a few more words in next time. Lol.
Love the genuine of the video. There is a lot of love there. They both proud of each other. Dad a blue collar worker and obtaining his aspirations with hard work and making time to smell the flowers. Christian wishing you the best for 2023. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing liquor run! The passion, honesty and love you both share here is just awesome! The father and son relationships you have really gets me.. life goal I would say ;) Love you both 👌
So great to see you guys together here for a glass - and such a great conversation. If, in your collecting journey, you're able to have a truly special piece...that's what it's all about.
The gmt complication is one of my absolute favorites and easily my most used one too! Recently picked up the Tudor bb gmt and am absolutely loving it definitely my favorite out of my collection!
In 1999 I received my medical license. I'd decided that getting through medical school and training and getting my license would be celebrated with a year of birth GMT. I'd spent a year researching 1675s, researching the eBay and VRF sellers, learning the scheme of serial numbers and how to figure out production year. That GMT was my only watch for years and the watch I wore to the first RedBar get together when Craniotes and I met up at the original RedBar in midtown Manhattan. That watch now sits in my safe waiting for my eldest child's 18th birthday. I've been fortunate to own many other watches, and Im wearing the modern 126710 Pepsi now, but that 1675 and my Dad's 1953 OP are special. Great story and great to see a father and son sharing a passion and telling the story Cheers Dr Jeff
Love these! This is what collecting is about. Pieces without a story to me always made their way out of the collection. Chased a dragon for years until I finally realized I had it the whole time.
Absolute banger of a go-to Italian wine for me, love that you can crack these open young without having to wait on them like Barolo/Barbaresco. Great episode as always, especially with Rollie and the personal stories...
This is without a doubt my favorite video you’ve done. The sentiment in this video makes me so happy for you guys. I plan to introduce watches with my child when I have one. And hope to build a bond around watches like you guys have.
Loved this. As a new dad with a young boy, I really hope I’ll have a similar relationship with my son one day. Are you going to put a review out on the watch? It’d be great to see how it compares with the steel equivalent.
I’m part of the Pepsi family mine on a jubilee … same age as your pap and probably the last generation where you had your eye on the prize but it wasnt instantaneous.. we planned , visualised and worked to make it happen .. instant gratification ain’t all it’s cracked up to be ..
First time watching liquor run, loved it! Your dad is a treat. Old school hard working gentleman that you can pal around with. Glad to see you can share your passion for watches and wines together! Love 1815 too, absolutely stunning piece! Cherish the time with your dad! 🍷 chin don!
If you were to buy your White Gold GMT today would you still get the black dial vs the blue? Blue dials command more money. Does one go with what one likes best or just buy the black dial and have Rolex replace with blue at no cost which they offer on watches older then 5 years. I appreciate you answering my questions very much.
Bro, congrats on the channel. There is a way to tell the difference between the gold and steel GMT Pepsi. The White gold’s dial is blue whereas the steel is black…and I’m sure you know
Christian, give your father your gold GMT. What a beautiful way to give that watch meaning. One day it’ll be yours again. Until then, wear his steel GMT and enjoy all the memories you have of your father wearing it.
You two have a lot of charisma. Like father, like son. But I'm sorry Christian, Rollie is on another level. It's just to f**k around a bit, I'm not serious. Good to have you two back together again!
The WG is not identical. The WG watch comes with a blue or meteorite dial. They briefly made some WG ones with the black dial and after they introduced the SS version which also had a black dial they offered WG owners the option to swap out the black dial for the blue one which was exclusive to the WG model.
There's a load of people in the younger generation who will buy their first Rolex when they can't necessarily afford to. Spend their life savings just to appear like they've made it hah. I like you guys attitude of working towards which gives it sentimental value. Just bought my first Tudor which is a big achievement for me hope to work my way up to a rolex some day!
I hope me and my son have this type of relationship when he grows up and If he looks at me with half as much admiration and respect as you do with your dad then I'll die a happy man
Christian- thank you for the insights into your family relation with your father and where you‘d come from. Watches are stupid material but transfer feelings over generations. Get going 🚀

Rollie is back! I absolutely loved this episode. I wish I had this relationship with my dad, cherish every moment guys ❤️
Yes I agree. I have no where near that kind of a relationship with my father.
So make sure when you have kids, you have this relationship with yours.
@@planetdee3587 I do and I’m trying my best 👍🏼
My mother bought me a second hand 1964 Rolex GMT when I graduated from High school. It’s been the heartbeat of my life in so many ways and I would never sell it. This reminds me of the day when my mother gave me that watch. Great channel. You guys get it. Chapeau.
This might be the best episode you’ve ever done. Bravo. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season!
Nice to see Rollie back. Waaaay too long.
My dad passed 3 years ago, great to see you both cherish your time together.
Hold on to it. Very special
Watching father and son trade watches is just incredible. So simple but so profound. Thank you for inviting us in and sharing this conversation/moment.
This is exactly what passion about watches should be all about. Amazing memories. One of the videos of the year!
Glad to have Rollie back!
Watching you two reminds me of convos my stepdad and I have, both about watches and life in general. And it makes me smile.
Great to see you guys on together! Excited to watch this as soon as I'm able
May just be the best episode yet! Absolutely love when Christian and Rollie pair up for liquor run! I actually was smiling at my phone it was so good. Well done T&H

I got my SubD for my 40th, I’ve waited 12 years and obsessed. I hope my kids have the same memories.

Nice story! I literally did the same thing: I bought, in 1997, for my 40th birthday a GMT 2-tone for around 6900. And I still have it 😊
It’s so nice to see this material. It’s so clear that Christian looks up to Rollie so much. So nice to see dads and sons with mutual respect and love. Father treating his kid like an adult with mutual respect is so nice to see. Cheers gentlemen, keep this style up. Love it

Happy holidays to everyone!!
Nice to see you having a great relationship with your dad. Cherish the moments. My father passed away last April and I now wish that I had spent more time with him when he was around I still have my first Rolex which my father bought me as my graduation gift some30 years ago. . Rollie should do a wine review channel for regular guys. He’s the best!!
Christian, love the interplay with your Dad. It is great that you have interests in common. Not really something I experienced in my life - but good for you, that you have. Love you guys.
Love when you bring your family on. Your dad is awesome! So handsome I might add. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

the only current GMT I like is the 126715CHNR root beer... something about that rose gold with the brown on the bezel... it's just good.
Protect Rollie at all costs! It’s rare that I smile while watching RUclips channels. Liquor Run is always the exception!
Great conversation Christian.
You two are so lucky to have such a great relationship with each other. Cherish it. It’s rarer than any of our watches are.
Agree 👍🏼
Awesome video Christian glad to see Rollie’s back, really enjoyed this episode!!👏🏼👏🏼

More impressive than Rollie’s watch is that tan. Great having you back on, Rollie.
Rollie in the sweater drinking wine is a vibe.

Would've liked to see a close up of the watch tho
Wow! As someone who hasn’t got a father this was magical.
Absolutely my favorite episode , you’re both so lucky to have each other, cheers !
These guys are killing it. Love the content. Christian is exquisitely annoying. 😂
Cheers from Luxembourg. Always a pleasure to listen to you guys (and practice my English about watch world and wine as well, as a French guy).
Damn Zeron. I actually was tearing up on this one. Well done.
This is without a doubt my favorite video you’ve done. The sentiment in this video makes me so happy for you guys. I plan to introduce watches with my child when I have one. And hope to build a bond around watches like you guys have.

When did Paul Reiser join the channel?
You guys are often imitated but never duplicated...keep it up! Is Rollie's sweater an Aran??
I love this. You have got to bring this series back
Pure class, miss these episodes. Great job gents and congrats.
“I grew up with bugs in my apartment, I’m not sleeping in the wild with you” 😆 I can relate to that… 25:17
Rollie is back. 🔥🔥🔥
Great stories guys, especially the tick one! Awesome! Love Liquor Run!
Great episode! Love it! The tick experience was too funny. All the best!
Great video, love the relationship between father & son, something I hope to emulate with my own son. Keep up the great work 👍🏾
Great seeing your Father on here! 👍
Awesome video love the connection you have with your dad
Are you going to hold them up to show?
Soon!!
So glad to see Rollie back! Great discussion Christian.
Brilliant!!! Damn I miss my dad. Treasure these moments, Christian.
Couldn’t agree with this more! I’m a GMT man as well.
If there was a way to quadruple-like this episode, I'd do it. Your pops raised you right, Christian. Salute!
Previous video: I can’t buy a watch that’s “better” than my father’s.
This video: I’m gonna talk about my new GMT.
Great to see your Dad, again Christian! Love the track top by the way.
So good to have Rolly back!
Bro, congrats on the channel.

Great vid no doubt but would have loved to get a close up of watches
The tick story was hilarious!
Throwing in these liquor runs from time to time is brilliant! Thanks gents, I needed this today!
Finally back with this video series!
Loved this reincarnation of liquor run! Just fantastic! Keep it up!
Your dad's seem like a nice dad. Much love
You two have a lot of charisma.
Like father, like son. But I'm sorry Christian, Rollie is on another level.
It's just to f**k around a bit, I'm not serious.
Good to have you two back together again!

Love these kind of videos. Also, dig Rollie's sweater! Now I have to look for one...
Bar Canete is awesome. I need to go back to Barcelona.
Liquor Run is back baby! And I loved it.
Everyone is a senior vice president. So spot on! 😂
I hope me and my son have this type of relationship when he grows up and If he looks at me with half as much admiration and respect as you do with your dad then I'll die a happy man
Still wearing and loving the 84 Pepsi I picked up from your company
Do this more often…..by far the best watch content out there …..
THIS is honest content. Rollie is an awesome dad...
Classic T&H video, loved this chat!
Get him the Lange, man
Yeah
So good to see Rollie back CHEERS.
Christian- thank you for the insights into your family relation with your father and where you‘d come from. Watches are stupid material but transfer feelings over generations. Get going 🚀
Bro Rollie looks so proud from years ago to now so fucking cool
need to do more of these!
You guys are great !
The pose we all do it.
Great stuff.
