flowerubyjane _ i have to agree. Kiel is a decent choreographer, but his work for the pinks is NOT cutting it AT ALL, its bland and repetitive. They should at least bring back Kyle hanagami or hire an a-tier choreographer like Parris who has worked with yg before.
@@atlf3357 parris was such a great choreographer, like the BBHMM dance practice, that was insane, on the other hand Kiel is not that bad himself, especially if you see what he did for the other ggs, but unlike those other ggs he used the same moves for the pinks, I was glad that he wasn't the only one who did the HYLT choreo and there were Kyle and a woman in the process too, it looked better than the KTL one
That’s interesting because many k-pop choreographers have said that k-pop requires specific “catchy moves” for different groups. Kiel has been doing really good at identifying what BP’s choreo-style is which causes it to be very memorable. I don’t see 2020-BP doing this choreo. I also don’t see it being passed as well because I can’t imagine BP singing after all of that (also, I’m a BLINK so think twice before you go all “Wow, you don’t think BP can’t do the dance?”) I never said that. I said that dance wouldn’t be optimal for them to do on live stages.
flowerubyjane _ ktl was btr tho imo. There were more iconic movements and the choreography for the chorus has more impact. The transitions were also pretty smooth. Hylt was kinda bland in comparison. Not to forget the poor transitions and formations, rosé had to run to her position and the stomping thing in the ‘look at you look at me’ part was not it. The dance break and the chorus sort of saved it for me. Hylt was pretty disappointing considering that kiel has choreographed other better choreos.
Darren Balagot what we’re saying is that the pinks don’t have to perform this exact choreo, but it would great for them to work with a choreographer who is able to produce choreo with these kinds of impactful, innovative moves to match their musicality. Kiel’s choreo for the pinks don’t stand out much outside the chorus, because the same arm-work and domino-effect formations he uses occupies most of the verses. For reference, Kyle hanagami choreos like boombayah and aiiyl are consistently fresh, impactful, and are better at expressing the song’s lyrics while still being easy to perform.
Coming here after watching the official choreo.. I think BP's choreographer hates them at this point. Their choreos have been extremely repetitive and uncoordinated since DuDuDu. Their songs deserve hype choreos like this. Obviously the BP girls needs to sing while dancing so its understandable if the choreo isnt as difficult but the official choreo is sloppy and the moves don't flow well with eachother. Not to mention the amount of random weird movements incorporated that just dont make sense
(My opinion, don't fight me) From now on I will accept that this is the official choreo for Pretty Savage because I absolutely hated the one Kiel made for BP although the girls slayed it. flowerubyjane _ i have to agree. Kiel is a decent choreographer, but his work for the pinks is NOT cutting it AT ALL, its bland and repetitive. They should at least bring back Kyle hanagami or hire an a-tier choreographer like Parris who has worked with yg before.
@@atlf3357 parris was such a great choreographer, like the BBHMM dance practice, that was insane, on the other hand Kiel is not that bad himself, especially if you see what he did for the other ggs, but unlike those other ggs he used the same moves for the pinks, I was glad that he wasn't the only one who did the HYLT choreo and there were Kyle and a woman in the process too, it looked better than the KTL one
That’s interesting because many k-pop choreographers have said that k-pop requires specific “catchy moves” for different groups. Kiel has been doing really good at identifying what BP’s choreo-style is which causes it to be very memorable.
I don’t see 2020-BP doing this choreo. I also don’t see it being passed as well because I can’t imagine BP singing after all of that (also, I’m a BLINK so think twice before you go all “Wow, you don’t think BP can’t do the dance?”) I never said that. I said that dance wouldn’t be optimal for them to do on live stages.
flowerubyjane _ ktl was btr tho imo. There were more iconic movements and the choreography for the chorus has more impact. The transitions were also pretty smooth. Hylt was kinda bland in comparison. Not to forget the poor transitions and formations, rosé had to run to her position and the stomping thing in the ‘look at you look at me’ part was not it. The dance break and the chorus sort of saved it for me. Hylt was pretty disappointing considering that kiel has choreographed other better choreos.
Darren Balagot what we’re saying is that the pinks don’t have to perform this exact choreo, but it would great for them to work with a choreographer who is able to produce choreo with these kinds of impactful, innovative moves to match their musicality. Kiel’s choreo for the pinks don’t stand out much outside the chorus, because the same arm-work and domino-effect formations he uses occupies most of the verses. For reference, Kyle hanagami choreos like boombayah and aiiyl are consistently fresh, impactful, and are better at expressing the song’s lyrics while still being easy to perform.

Coming here after watching the official choreo.. I think BP's choreographer hates them at this point. Their choreos have been extremely repetitive and uncoordinated since DuDuDu. Their songs deserve hype choreos like this. Obviously the BP girls needs to sing while dancing so its understandable if the choreo isnt as difficult but the official choreo is sloppy and the moves don't flow well with eachother. Not to mention the amount of random weird movements incorporated that just dont make sense

From now on I will accept that this is the official choreo for Pretty Savage because I absolutely hated the one Kiel made for BP although the girls slayed it. It could've been so much better, badass dance moves for the chorus but nah Kiel be like "hehe jelly fish dance go brrr"
