6:03 this got a like just for that edit alone, probably one of the best edits ive ever seen edit: this is also one of the coolest maps ive seen in a while its so good
You were supposed to look through the portal to colorize the wool, just like how standing in the colorful part of the library made the whole thing colorful
The edit at 6:00 is the biggest potential to go viral on the internet. Literal mind blowing. I can't believe I stopped watching these 1 video Minecraft maps for so long, now.
I don’t know, but my guess is that you were supposed to step into the illusion on the last puzzle, to see all the colours on the wool lines coming out of the portal. The same way you did in the library section.
The color room puzzle at the end is using additive mixing not subtractive mixing. That’s why your using RGB and not RYB. It’s like your mixing light as opposed to mixing paint on the color wheel.
That book at 21:50 is a reference to The Room 2. A very strong set of puzzle games that I recommend. 2 is the weakest of the set but still well worth the time.
Reminds me a lot of a game called AntiChamber with the magic gun, colorful cubes, white halls, and puzzles. The game is also non-euclidean, but with more mind tricks & philosophy. It's not the most intense game, but it's an interesting experience if you like this one.
In the last puzzle if you activated the illusion of the portal you could see the colors of the wool lines through it. And then you could place the cubes corresponding to the towers without guessing.
The colors are based on light instead of paints. Our eyes don't have yellow recptors, yellow light just triggers red and green receptors. That's actually how screens work. They have red green and blue lights. When red and green light is mixed just right we see it as yellow
Jordan just so you know the last puzzle was based on the flower pots again. But you couldn't put it in the same order because the thing on the right says that green is red, blue is green, and red is blue. So you had to put the green one on the left, the blue one in the middle, and the red one on the left. Because the flower pots were in order red green blue from the left. But you could also peek through the portal and see the colors of the wool and do it that way. Because I don't think he expects you to remember the order of the flowers but it's fun that it actually was the same order
At the last puzzle, you can step on the portal and see the colors of the wools (while the portal illusion is activated). That way you don't have to guess which block goes where.
At 6:26, you can see the editor actually uses an ai and probably searched "captainsparkles" for it to guess what image to make, that's what that random swirly mess is
Yellow is a primary colour in subtractive colour rendering. It takes away anti-yellow, also known as blue. This means you are left with a combination of red and green light which makes yellow. The others in that set are magenta and cyan. But if you are dealing with additive colours, then you have red, green and blue as your primary colours and combining red and green makes yellow.
Yellow is a primary in pigments/subtractive theory (CMY), but yellow is a secondary in screens/additive theory (RGB). And because you're using RGB blocks, and thus the additive theory, yellow can be made. So, while you're correct in "Yellow is a primary", primary and secondary colours are dependent on which theory you use.
