- Meghan Markle may miss the Invictus Games for the first time due to security concerns following the announcement that Birmingham will host the tournament in 2027.
The Duke of Sussex, who founded a sporting competition for wounded, injured, and sick military personnel and veterans, is currently in a dispute with the Home Office regarding security arrangements for himself and his family when they are in the UK.
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield joins Talk’s Kevin O’Sullivan to discuss this further.

20 Million dollars from Spotify
20 million dollars for his book spare
10 million dollars from Oprah for his interview (alledgedly)
2 million dollars in donations to Archewell in 2022.
30 Million pounds from his mother
and is set to receive another 7 million pounds inheritance from the Queen mother when he turns 40.
In my opinion that is MORE THAN ENOUGH MONEY for him to pay the 26 million for the Invictus Games in Birmingham HIMSELF.
Rather than him and his wife billing all expenses, private jets, 5 star hotels, etc. to Invictus.
P.S. and still LOTS OF MONEY LEFT FOR HIM TO PAY FOR HIS OWN SECURITY!!!!!!

Meghan has nothing whatsoever to do with the Invictus Games - Harry is the patron, period. The Invictus Games was established by the UK Ministry of Defense, Buckingham Palace and the Kensington Royal Foundation of Prince William, Princess Catherine and Prince Harry. It SHOULD be held in the UK at least every third year. I'm sure there is a government agency that would give monetary support to Birmingham, and it should bring in tourist dollars to the city as well, because the UK is small enough in driving distances that many citizens would travel to Birmingam to see the Games. Also, holding the Games in the UK would keep Meghan away and that would bring back supporters who left because it had become The Meghan Markle Show.

Give any money that can be allocated to qualified direct Veteran support organizations, instead of all the hype/b.s. that the Harkles inflict on the hosting cities, veterans and folks who attend. There will be other years, when the economy improves, for organized Games.
That's called "Skip," not "miss" at least in the US. And I'm sure that NO ONE in the UK will miss her at the games. Her failure to attend will likely save the charity many thousands of pounds as they won't have to buy her a new wardrobe or arrange a private plane, redecorate a hotel room, etc. Before Meghan, Harry would fly first class (expensive, but far less than private) and stay at top flight hotels without a book full of demands.
