It is basically a Xingbao design and it is also made by them. BB has modified it a little bit, but has not remedied the design issues the original set has. My mum built the XB version and the roof does also not work. I have built more than ten specials from BB including the Blaustein Castle, up until the hall extension and this is the only set that just does not work. Really sad this made it to market!
@trulsdirio Thanks for your comment! That's interesting. I built the Blaustein Castle Advent Calendar last year. I haven't built any XB sets, but I've built that Advent Calendar and several BB Star Trek sets and felt that any problems I had would have been solved with better bricks. I think the roof on the bakery might have bent a little better if the click hinges were replaced with a clip and bar connection. I guess I figured out why it was discounted so much!
@LegUpBrix Thanks. It's got the right colors for Christmas and I like the gold around the edge of the roof. I think if the click hinges were replaced with clips and bars, it would let the roof bend a little make the gaps much smaller.
@BricksOnAnIsland Last weekend @batterypoweredbricks posted an interesting video where he spoke with someone at BlueBrixx and he said they don't make their bricks. But this model has design issues too. I just watched the BlueBrixx English video describing this set and you can see the roof is bent like I thought it should be, but it's clearly not attached at the bottom. The minifigures are a little different too, but the hair fell off of one of them during their own video.
@joe-bowling Yes, you're right, they don't produce their own bricks. And they are bying from different chinese brick producers for different Blue Bricks lines/catagories - which means brick quality may vary depending on which set you buy and how old the design/production line is. "Deutsche Wertarbeit", I know, is chinese Wertarbeit when it comes down to the bricks. But the design flaws you taöked about are " homemade" Bluebricks mistakes, like the gaps in the roof or that strange build of the roof window that you showed in your video. Oh, and I believe Cobi are the only ones producing all off their own bricks at home in Poland. I have two WW2 planes bei Cobi and their bricks, im my eyes, are on the same level as the Panlos and Lego bricks.
Wicked!! I need to try them out.

Great review, not liking those minifigures but still seems like a cool set, except the little gaps.

Looks like "Deutsche Wertarbeit" is not what it used to be ...
