Hi Markét, nice to see you back home. The capital city is the bustling city. Is the porest city in the world in terms of economy. For you, climbing to the top of the mountain - Tserko Ri was the demanding thing, you've ever done. It was indescribable. Visiting the natural park would be the greatest experience for my niece. We watched the vlog together. She was interesting in animal 11:41. For me personally it was the most interesting vlog you've ever done. Watchiching this video was ravishingly.

Hi there, dear Pavlína. Thank you so much for your kind words, great to hear from you! 😘 Say hello to your niece and please tell her that it was a kingfisher (ledňáček). They were absolutely stunning, I loved watching them. ☺
I've got some corrections for you if I may: The capital city is A bustling city. IT IS ONE OF the POOREST CITIES in the world in terms of ITS economy. For you, climbing the top of the mountain - Tserko Ri was the MOST demanding thing you've ever done. It was indescribable. Visiting the natural park would be the greatest experience for my niece. We watched the vlog together. She was INTERESTED in THE animal 11:41. For me personally it was the most interesting vlog you've ever done. Watching this video was RAVISHING.
Great job as always! Have fun learning English and take care,
      Markét 🤩

    Hi Market,
It is nice to see you safe and sound again. I was looking forward to your returm and was curious about your experiences. Watching the video carefully I felt like I was there with you. I have never been to such a country and it looks like I will already never be in my future. Kathmandu is absolutely fantastic! Beautiful, colourful city with a lot of temples, statues. I could see a lot of colourful little flags hanging on strings everywhere. Have they had some special religious significance?
The highest point above sea level you have reached (4985 m) is admirable. Did you feel some breathing difficulties in such an altitude? I know you are in a very good condition, you regularly run to keep youself fit. I can't imagine myself with my asthma to be in such a hight. By the way, Nepal is the home of Mount Everest, the roof of the world. You were approximately in the half way of its hight (8 882 m). Could you see it from one of the viewpoints?
You could see a lot of wide life in the safari. You meant rhinos, crocodiles, tigers, bears and elephants. Wasn't it a little dangerous to sale on such a tiny boat on the river? It was really amazing to observe those animals in their natural environment, but you were certainly instructed how to behave there. I saw a lot of monkeys everywhere in the video. What kind of monkeys were they? I hope they didn't bother you as monkeys for example, in Thailand, do.
Thank you for your very beautiful vlog. Everywhere live people and they have similar desires, worries and pleasure. Nepal is not an exception despite sometimes I feel that the pictures are like to come from another planet for me.
Your oldest admirer and English student
    František

      Hi there, dear František,
thank you so much for such a warm welcome and thoughtful comment. I'm pleased you enjoyed the vlog. ☺
      To your questions:
Yes, the little flags represent sacred mantras Om Many Padme Hum and they're literally everywhere. 🙃
Yes, I found it very difficult to breathe above 4,000 metres above sea level. Every step costs you so much energy and you feel nauseous and dizzy, yet you keep climbing until you reach the top. From up there, we had the most amazing views of Langtang Lirung which stands at 7, 234 metres above sea level. I couldn't see Mount Everest though. 😉
No, it wasn't dangerous at all. At least nothing happened while we were so close to those crocodiles. 😂 The monkeys were mostly macaque monkeys and rhesus monkeys. 🙃
Let me thank you one more time from the bottom of my heart to be such a enthusiastic student. Happy learning! 🤩
      Markét

Hi Markét, Thank you for the wonderful video from Nepal.
I had no idea what a talented cameraman you are.
The shots are beautiful. I have 2 questions.
Do you know how many kilometers you walked in total on treks?
What was it like when the weather changed so much?
And the answers to your questions:
1 Kathmandu is chaotic , full of people and busy city
2 The highest point of your journey was 4985 meters above sea level .
    I admire you !
3 Observe all animals in their natural environment
Bonus. On safari I saw: Deer, rhinoceros, crocodile, elephants, cormorant and some birds that I don't know
    I'm cheering for you Eva

Hi there, dear Eva. Thank you so much for your kind words. I'd say I'm not talented but definitely enthusiastic about video making. I'm glad you liked the video. 😁 To answer your questions: We walked about 115 kilometres (at least that's my guess). And as for the ever-changing weather, it wasn't so dramatic actually. The nights in the mountains were really cold, sometimes freezing, but during the day, I usually wore just a T-shirt or sweatshirt. The biggest temperature shock was Káthmándú (it was 32 degrees there during the day) and Chitwan National Park (it was up to 39 degrees there). Luckily, I'm pretty adaptable. 🙃
Well done, you did great! Thanks for doing your homework. By the way, there were no cormorans as far as I know. The little blue birds were kingfishers and there were also herons, peacocks and storks in the park. 🙃
      Happy learning,
      Markét

    Ahoj Markéto,
I´m glad to see that you enjoyed your trip so much. Before i can answer your smart question, i would like to ask you about your trip to Tserko Ri mountain. From what height did you start, and how many kilometres did it take together?
Now, about your questions. You think the capitals in Nepal are chaotic places, but on the other hand, there are very nice and helpful people. The highest point you reached was the 4985-meter-high Tserko Ri Mountain. I can see you enjoyed your trip to the safari too. Because you said it was amazing to see the animals in their natural habitat. That's clear!! 🤔
What kinds of animals did i see? Monkeys, rhinos, crocodiles, donkeys, big cows, small cows, yaks (I think), elephants, goats, and monkeys and monkeys and monkeys...
See you again on Wednesday 😶‍🌫

Hi there, Láďa, I'll be happy to answer your curious question. Just one thing to point out before I do: you don't use the word "height" in this context, but "elevation" or "altitude" = nadmořská výška, převýšení. 🙃 We started from Kyanjin Gompa where we slept that night. We had about 1000 metres elevation gain and walked about 4,6 kilometres to the top. 😉
Thank you for doing your homework. Great job! ☺
If I may, I have one tiny thing to correct:
You think the capitals in Nepal are chaotic places... - There is just one capital city and that is Káthmándú. Therefore you have to say: You think the capital OF Nepal is a chaotic place.
And yes, those furry cows with horns were really yaks. They were so cute.😁
      Take care,
      Markét

What a great presentation of Nepal! Thank you so much for all the fascinating pictures of this beautiful country:-) The capital of Nepal, Káthmándú, is a bustling, chaotic city that makes somehow sense in the end. The highest point you reached was Tserko Ri mountain (4985 meters above see level) - it was very physically demanding and the impression indescribable. The safari was amazing, particularly to observe the animals in their natural habitat. I spoted some yaks (I hope so), monkeys, elephants, rhinos, a big crocodile and perhaps a back from a hippopotamus, but I'm not sure.. Thank you for sharing this experience, have a relaxing day! 🤗😘

I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed the vlog, dear Jana. Thanks so much for watching, commenting and doing your homework. I really appreciate it. 🤩 You did an amazing work, that's the way to go! Just one little thing to point out: Sadly, there are no hippos in Nepal, just rhinos. 🙃 Take care, Markét 😉
