I want to share this: me and my boyfriend are both muay thai fighters. We are both black belt and incredible figthers. I remember practicing late up at night to this music with him. I remember doing our muay thai work out together in the middle of the woods, the mountains, the beach to this music.
Now, he is struggling with heart disease. He underwent surgery and is now recivering. I'm staying by his side, whatever happens, because he is my love. We listen to this music, together, and talk about everything we will do when he is fully recovered. He spended the past few days, telling me repeatedly he had a great gift for me. He gave it to me today: a 3 months travel to Thailand, to learn even more muay thai all together losts in a precious thai village. I cried, I cried a lot. And it wasn't because of the travel, but because I will be his side, because he I'm wittnessing him improve and get better gradually. When we arrive Thailand, I will play this music, and simply, show him how much he means to me. Not by words, but by actions❤

I listened to this beautiful music for over 6 houres in the last days, and in todays meditation i started to cry. I thought about all the pain, that everyone around me has to go trough. My girlfriend, she is in fear about her dad, my mum fears of getting cancer again, my lovely cousin who had an alcohol addicted mother, is so brave and strong and still fights to this day. My brother who did drugs, who looked me in the eyes with his eyes full of pain and grief. I will never forget that.
I have schizophrenia since im 18, and i am batteling my demons everyday. Now i am 27 years old and im finally starting to lose my fear and getting my trust back, the trust in my loved ones and in myself. I will continue my practise and i hope you have the possibility to do the same. I love you brother! Stay strong.

I found this loop 2 years ago when starting my PhD studies. I am now a PhD candidate writing my dissertation and coming back to it feels like returning home. It is both a source of comfort and strength for which I am so very grateful! May the hands that created it and the ears of those who hear it feel the same sense of peace and presence.
My eyes are literally watering. I do not know how to express it at the moment. I'm not getting enough sleep because of depression and anxiety, listening to it is such a great relief. Sad how we're missing on such simple and beautiful things available in nature.

The Last Samurai was such a beautiful movie. Critics can complain about historical accuracy if they want, but no one can deny that it was artistically flawless.
While I enjoy the Last Samurai, one aspect I am not sure about was romanticizing the warrior caste that had a gray history, even towards their own people (for example, a practice called kirisute gomen involved a samurai cutting down a commoner over a perceived insult). I mean, I still enjoy the film as a story itself (it helps that it does not claim to be based on a true story even if it is inspired by various historical accounts) but I can understand certain greivances.
@@cadethumann8605 I was unaware of the gray history. I think the romanticizing was for the pleasure of the wider audience, bearing in mind that it is a Hollywood movie, therefore Western representation of other cultures has always been biased. ^^

I use the last samurai themes as a theme for my main male lead in my book. He's a sad character, trying to be better, selfish loekey but destined for something better. He carries a large burden with him, and over all is a saddened and broken person. These go so well for him, I literally cry when thinking of him. 2:40 is just beautiful

Going through loneliness since I was a teenager. So listening to this while I sleep helps and helps me cope and accept that I will be lonely most of my life as a young 22 year old man.
It's why I usually like the term "Ronin". I started using this term after My father passed aways when I was 15 years old.
I was really isolated in my teen years. So it's hard for me to socialize due to my social skills comparable to a 7 year old.
Gotta learn how to accept and cope with my loneliness, from the legendary Ronin himself.

Hans Zimmer is a composing legend. The Lion King? Composed by him. Interstellar? Him too. The Prince of Egypt? Yep. Kung Fu Panda? He AND John Powell (aka How to Train Your Dragon composer) worked on that masterpiece. Top Gun Maverick? yeah. Dune? Pirates of the Caribbean? yes and yes.
Hans Zimmer, John Powell, and John Williams are my 3 favorite film composers. Their work is incredible.
