Still working on getting R2 on his feet. I'm still finding things that I'd like to do before I put the legs on. I've just painted the 'bread pan door' tops, I've reprinted the utility arms because I wasn't happy with the ones I did last year and I've started working on the large data port pieces.
I think that once I have those pieces finished I'll be able to put the legs on, as well as the body top ring that the lazy susan bolts to. The painting weather is going to be ending soon, so hopefully I'll get those last parts done in time. If not, I'll probably still put him on his feet as it just means that I'll have to remove the body top ring to install the pieces when they get finished.

Yes seeing where your r2 can go in your house is differently one thing you have to find out, my r2 is fine in my house he can go just about anywhere so I lucked out on that one. The box I’m making to put him in when he’s travelling well that’s a different story, I made that on the back deck and couldn’t even get it out the side gate without forcing it. So r2 would get marked or damaged if he was in it when I was trying to go out the gate. I know it’s a long process but your nearly to the finish line now Tom and just think of the end result cos it’s not far off for you 👍.

Thanks for the encouragement! I've still got the entire dome and electronics to go yet but I'm enjoying each achievement now that it's finally more in the assembly stage than the prep work stage.
