I love how much Antwaun we're getting on this album.
It shows how amazing some of the songwriters are in this group. Joey and Theo write some amazing songs that get unlocked once Antwan gets his hands on them. Theo has a weird voice, Joeys is much smoother, but there is some sort of magic when Straton arranged their songs for Antwan. The guy is just an special special vocalist.

They actually tried to get Joe Dart to play an acoustic guitar with everybody else but couldn't figure out how to remove the bass from his hands without killing him in the process
They were worried to break his neck once his bass was recklessly snatched away from him parting him from his stimulus

i believe joe was born with a P bass plugged into his umbillical chord. the P bass can be replaced with a minimalist music man bass, but without one of them feeding funk directly into his body, he will go into cardiac arrest.

@@paulbremen your ears are more accurate than mine. In my defense, I was only strumming Along on a ukulele. When I sat down at the piano, yours sounds better.
@@paulbremen of course, if you add diminished sevenths to the Ab and Db you get your first two chords. With the riff that Cory is playing, I would not assign this a minor key signature.
The ride up leading into the chorus gave me the chills every.time.
This has become my favorite song in the span of less than 12 hours, this entire album is shaping up to be their best so far

I'm so glad Antwaun Stanley was picked up along the way, he really is the perfect fit. He makes the band whole.
Joey blessing us with another track of his own is the best we could hope for the end of the year
props to the engineer, this is hard as hell to get right since you're basically mixing by moving people around. Awesome job Nick Nagurka!

Coincidentally, yesterday I was watching the Travelling Wilburys documentary where they wrote/recorded most song in their first album just like this with 4 or 5 acoustic guitars strumming along… this arrangement reminded me of that…

Already loved the original by Joey Dosik from his album, and this is acoustic version is awesome!! Joey is really one of the best when it comes to song making. Running Away and Grandma are some of my favourite tracks, and they're all his!
