It shows how amazing some of the songwriters are in this group. Joey and Theo write some amazing songs that get unlocked once Antwan gets his hands on them. Theo has a weird voice, Joeys is much smoother, but there is some sort of magic when Straton arranged their songs for Antwan. The guy is just an special special vocalist.
@@beardown2489 I couldn't agree more. His last run at the end literally makes me cry, and this isn't even a sad song. He is brilliant. I would love to meet him one day to tell him that.

They actually tried to get Joe Dart to play an acoustic guitar with everybody else but couldn't figure out how to remove the bass from his hands without killing him in the process
i believe joe was born with a P bass plugged into his umbillical chord. the P bass can be replaced with a minimalist music man bass, but without one of them feeding funk directly into his body, he will go into cardiac arrest.

was kinda hoping for a dosik vocal when i saw this on the tracklist for the album but i ain't complaining about more antwaun! this song suits his voice very well
Already loved the original by Joey Dosik from his album, and this is acoustic version is awesome!! Joey is really one of the best when it comes to song making. Running Away and Grandma are some of my favourite tracks, and they're all his!
Coincidentally, yesterday I was watching the Travelling Wilburys documentary where they wrote/recorded most song in their first album just like this with 4 or 5 acoustic guitars strumming along… this arrangement reminded me of that…
Been listening to the album nonstop and I have to say this song is my favorite. So magical so easy so simple but it's so fun i love this song so much. Glad vulf is back thank you thank you Happy New Year!!! 🩷🩷

Plus, he should be getting a share of this song's proceeds, so that's a lot of treats
Rivers is fantastic. He's Mike Shea's dog. Been part of the Vulf family since he was adopted years ago.
Vulfpeck is starting to feel like an experiment in adding challenge to the recording process, having a dog in the studio to tempt fate
Slightly reminiscent of Noodle running through the cables during The Consouls live Radio #13 (An Hour of Sega Jazz Funk) except River isn’t running ;)
There's a dog collar jingle that got picked up by a mic in Rango II, you can see it run by in the video
one bark probably costs like 30 bucks
Fortunately it was completely enjoying this vibe just like in heaven :)
Totally didn't notice the dog at first.
I love how much Antwaun we're getting on this album.

Well he wrote it :)

They actually tried to get Joe Dart to play an acoustic guitar with everybody else but couldn't figure out how to remove the bass from his hands without killing him in the process
They were worried to break his neck once his bass was recklessly snatched away from him parting him from his stimulus
Dart? Guitar? It’s illegal.

Joey blessing us with another track of his own is the best we could hope for the end of the year

Get a smile to come out of you
Give you all that I've got to give

'Cause if we can't act right in heaven
Then we might not know that we have one
Have one
How could we forget?

It might not be the most perfect place there is
But think about what we'll tell our kids
When there are a hundred reasons, it shouldn't come between us
Tell me, how could someone not really get with this?
Get with this
[Pre-Chorus]
I hope you feel this way
Somebody feel this way
Come on and make a change
[Chorus]
'Cause if we can't act right in heaven
Then we might not know that we have one
We can work if we're worried, I think maybe we should hurry
So that we can grow old in heaven
[Post-Chorus]
(Have one) Oh, think about how good it feels
(Have one) Oh, it feels good to say
(Have one) Feels good to say
Have one, mmm, yeah
[Bridge]
It's exciting
To do right in
How we're trying
Let's keep trying
To push forward
To do more for
Understanding
What's going on, Lord?
What’s going on?
[Pre-Chorus]
I hope you feel this way
Somebody feels this way
It's time to make a change
[Chorus]
'Cause if we can't act right in heaven
Then we might not know that we have one
Imagine we already have one
So that we can grow old in heaven
[Post-Chorus]
Heaven
Oh, could not forget
(Have one)
[Outro]
So that we can grow old in heaven
One of my favorite Joey Dosik tracks!
Joe needs an acoustic bass guitar at some point.
Get Joe a ukulele bass!!
Yea he should get a Taylor GS Mini bass!
Double Bass or nothing. Evetything else is weak and must be plugged in to be heard in the mix.
Music Man executives seeing this comment: "Write that down, WRITE THAT DOWN"
he has an acoustic bass, he played it when he came to Sicily. But yeah, never recorded any vulf track with it I think
Antwaun being The King of Falsetto🙌🏻🙌🏻 Vulf will never cease to impress!!
Al Green class
Dont forget about maxwell now😁
