Love you George, you have been my guide for my aquarium journey for last 10+ years... but I think it is the filter you chose that is making more issues than your family overfeeding... breaking rule #1... ❤
I like dutch aquascape because I'm a plant enthusiast. Learning the plant growth pattern and its preferred conditions is also applicable to nature aquarium so it's a great crash course ❤
All of my tanks are a nature scape. It is my favorite, and even when I try other styles, I usually end up with a nature scape. The other styles are just too perfect and too artsy for my taste. My favorite plants are the crypts which you can tell if you look at my tanks. I love that you say everyone has their own style and preference. I have so many times come across people in the hobby who say they are aquascapers and insist you have to do scaping one way, their way. It is very off-putting and especially when you are new to the hobby and struggling. I have been in the hobby 40+ years, and I love my fish and their homes. It also amazes me that you never quit learning in this hobby. I absolutely love your channel as you show your tanks in all their stages, including with and without algae, etc. You make keeping tanks real. Thank you. And your tanks are beautiful, even with a little BBA.
I am watching your Videos since almost 20years and I feel always happy when I see that a new video from George is available on youtube. Keep up that good work! P.s. It would be time for a new video from Adams Place 😁
Its like the two tanks are sisters One is the looker and the other is the thinking mans tank I'm really keen to see how the Dutch tank changes over time As always thanks for the excellent content George
George, love your videos. I’ve been watching you for a very long time and I really appreciate your passion for this hobby. You inspired me in so many ways thank you. Keep doing what you doing.👊🏻
I have nature aquariums, this has shown me that Dutch style is more difficult with no rocks, wood or stone to bail the hobbyist out. I think your analysis is correct in the video, as you hinted at this. Now i know the problems Capability Brown had lol. Thats allowing for you being a top class aquascaper, whose give me great inspiration. Thanks.
My friend, I have three aquascaping books. Nature Aquarium World, Aquarium Plant Paradise, and Aquascaping (by you 😊). Love them all! Tai Streetman's has been in my cart for months 😅
nature one all the way! the Dutch is beautiful but broadcasts it was created by a person not mother nature. lovely all around. well done and a big fan from the states. cheers George. walt
Both beautifull tanks! It happened to me once that someone overfed my aquarium. From that moment on ive used pill boxes whilst im on holiday (as no one of my family or friends have a real feel for fish).
I prefer a nature aquarium. Dutch is lovely too but way too much work for me. I enjoy a wild looking nature tank. I hope you and your family had a lovely Christmas. Happy 2025!
Mein Herz schlägt für die Holland-Aquarien; ich mag aber beide Stile. Die Twin Star mit den Acryl Haltern ist aber eindeutig schöner als die neue Version.
Personally, Dutch style looks and feels too much like a terrestrial garden for me. If I want a terrestrial garden, I'd make one that's above water, not below it.
I don‘t know if it‘s something that you as content creator can change, but the automatic language synchronization just sounds awful in German. As a subscriber of your channel I want to connect with you and not some generic AI voice over.
You can’t call this a Dutch scape! It doesn’t come even close! I know the space is small but you could have made a miniature Dutch scape in it…please don’t call this a Dutch scape. For the people who are watching please look on the internet for examples of a real Dutch scape,
Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your passion for Dutch aquascaping. As someone who has studied and respects this style, I’ve had the privilege of learning from Dutch aquascaping experts, including Bart Laurens, and have even collaborated on videos with him. Have you seen my other videos where I discuss plant selection, layout, and showcase examples from the NBAT archives? I’d love to hear your thoughts on those as well. Creating a true Dutch scape in a smaller tank does present challenges, but I strive to incorporate the essence of the style where possible. Thanks again for sharing your perspective-it’s always great to connect with others who value aquascaping traditions. Happy New Year 🥳
@@GeorgeFarmerStudios you are an aquascaping hero. One thing I find fun about the hobby is the continuous learning and experimentation. Thank you for putting out these videos so we all can learn a bit.
@@GeorgeFarmerStudiosyou are a really good person. I am not sure I would have the same level of patience that you have. The above commenter is exactly the type of person I was talking about in my comment. Keep doing you George, you are a real treasure in the hobby.
the nature one for me is top dog George. That twinstar E light is 👌👌 colouring is spot on.
i thought you scaped it!
I agree it's a great looking tank!
Love that your videos are in 4k. All the little details, vibrant color and contrast is amazing.

We forget ourselves when we are engaged in our aquariums that's what this hobby offers us peace in motion that's happiness 😊

Will be nice to see a video of the home workshop when you do the next one. Thanks for sharing your experience. Always pleasant to watch.
Both are Beautiful tanks. I love the little shrimp, which give pops of colour in the nature one.

I am dutch, and have no clue why its called ''dutch'' style

Never liked the Dutch style and I’m Dutch 😅

Why so much hate? Dutch scape are made using lots of plants only, there’s not other rules, not like in aquascaping…

The plants used in this Dutch are not plants one would use in an actual Dutch scape.
