- Great ride, the Velobuild aero bike managed the climb even with the 53/39 and 11-30 gears, the Wheeltop EDS-TX worked perfectly and the new Specialized Evade 3 was comfortable even on a warm day, result!

Between 25mm and 28mm tires, which would you prefer? However, if you choose 23mm tires, the road must be really smooth. Great video as always.
It would really depend for me on the shape of the rims, to get the best aero transition. For my Vision wheels that have 19mm internals and 25mm externals, 23c is the perfect choice. Once pumped up it runs smooth to the edge of the rim. On the Lun Hyper R45 with 21mm internal and 27.6 externa, then 25c work better. I personally would not go wider as the comfort level is acceptable to me, but others might have different priorities.
23mm in real life has better grip and better comfort on Roubaix cobbles. 35 mm are just faster but not more comfortable and certainly doesn’t have better grip.

It looks like your rear derailleur could need B-screw adjustment. Move that upper pulley as close as possible to the cassette for better shifting. Check by shifting around the the largest/smallest cog that it doesn't contact and you're good.

@@Artemstorozhuk some say 30c with wide rirms are faster. I'm not sure, maybe more comfortable, but can't understand why they are faster. At least the same.
Gp5000 have pretty lousy grip compared to other tires like Vittoria and Michelin etc. For non racing, no big deal though.
@@mikeh6286 I always had great confidence with GP5000, to me it's a great all around choice. What models are you suggesting on the other brands?
@@fede1275 I ride GP5000 too but I don't lean much in the corners. I'd be afraid to follow someone on a technical descent if I'm on GP5000 and they aren't. To achieve the best grip you can't also get the lowest rolling resistance. Choose one. This is just my experience on it, I could be wrong but I think it's right. Vittoria doesn't chase rolling resistance at the expense of grip. Continental does.
It's funny how a lot of pro teams have their riders on GP5000's, and there's no way they'd run them if the grip wasn't adequate.
