Hi bro, a dominar owner this side from last 3 years and 30k kms, there are many points in this video which I found misleading which I want to point out. Don't mind but felt like a novice review without much proper homework done before the video. I feel you should have confirmed some points before posting this video 1. Dominar had these rear view mirrors since 2019 and Duke got it now from domi and not the other way around. 2. Dominar is made for the purpose of Highway touring mostly hence it has that heaviness and linear acceleration. The High-end torque shines most when on a highway and above 70-80kmph 3. Gear position can also be set easily on the main display. This small thing you should have at least confirmed before posting this video 4. For cornering and quick acceleration, you need a street-purpose bike like the Duke so comparing every time while you were cornering with a much lighter bike seemed unfair. The duke cannot feel this much stable as Dominar on a highway if you run it for longer period on high speed. Dominar can easily do 120+ continuously without any instability that to the weight and higher turning radius. 5. The exhaust noise is not as irritating as you sounded it to be. In that case many find the exhaust of KTMs to be irritating but that all depends on one's choice. Also in the long run I never felt any irritation or buzzing even after 1000 kms run in a single day. 6. This machine is so reliable that you cannot even compare any RE against it. You just need to mostly maintain the chain by cleaning and lubing after every 500-700 kms and this bike will go on and on without beating a sweat 7. Regarding the new mobile mount, and this is coming from an "old owner" only, the mount itself if you make it tight never feels unstable or loose. Don't know why you felt that. I felt for the most part you were generalizing the bike as a naked street bike which is not the case. You should always judge any bike for the main purpose it is made for. Rest I also feel the tank is too small as at least 14-15 lts should have been there. Milage also depends on the kind of rider so that is also a very vague thing to say.
I have also Domi 400 but sorry to say bro some of your information is totally wrong........1 bar bike chalane ke baad uss bike ke bare me sab kuch kese bol dete hoo.....I’m using it like a year now & loving it❤❤ & also proud to have a powerful Indian🇮🇳 motorcycle 😌
Yes bro,i have also new dominor, gear indicator ko main display pe vi cala sakte ho,or mileage city main vi 28 ka de deti hain or highway main taa 34+ deti hain
Agreed... starting mei without first, second servicing dominar apna pura power nahi dikhata hain... Akhir kaar 373 cc hain... Thora toh sabar karna parega na😂
The gear position indicator can be toggled into the main console. No need to worry for that. I always keep the gear indicator on the main console of my bike.
@@anuragmahana7 Press the M button and go to the Odo reading on the secondary console, then press the S button to toggle through the Gear indicator, Service reminder and dynamic fuel consumption on the main console. Very simple.
I own a Dominar 400 2023 nd I’m helping you to clear your doubts. Firstly, The Gear position indicator can be shifted to the main console by using the navigation menu And secondly the weight of the bike acts as an advantage on the highways as it gives a tough stability ( When any big vehichles passes by your side it doesn’t seems to get unbalance like the ktm’s ) And yes the mileage part is very bad,I get around 17-18kmpl in cities. But the exhaust part is not at all true…I had done 400-500kms in a single stretch but the sound doesn’t trouble you at all. Coming to the suspension part : It’s suspension at initial damping is soft but after that it becomes a little hard ( good for stability at corners or at high speeds ) Conclusion is if you are planning for this just get it…The price at which it comes is a great value for money. And also the feel that you get while riding a dominar is ❤️🔥👑 no other bike in it’s segment can give that feel.
I love the bike. No doubt. But does it last for long term use? The Reliability of this bike is the biggest question. It has quite a bad image when it comes to reliability and build quality. Dont get me wrong. Im not saying that Dominar is a bad bike. Im just concerned about the reliability part👍
@@Mr.Motorhead46dude people do international tour on this machine. Reliability depends on how u maintain. That is true. Maintenance is the key for a perfect condition bike. I have seen people say that the bike is unreliable when they ride like a squid and does little to no maintenance. I guess it truly depends on the rider🙂
Hello, I am a Dominar 2024 user from Colombia - South America 🇨🇴 and I have the same problem of active ABS and no mileage, I would like to know how you solve it and why it presents this problem... I did a 500km trip on its takeoff and I found it quite comfortable and its response is immediate, it is a perfect motorcycle for the roads of my country
I've experienced riding the KTM 390, Benelli 300, and Dominar, each serving its distinct purpose. The Dominar excels in highway cruising, the KTM 390 is aggressive but tends to get hot, and the Benelli is ideal for city rides due to its compact and maneuverable nature.

Suspension is on the softer side, especially the rear one and the ride is very smooth especially on highways. I think the tyre pressure was not right on that bike you have reviewed. 3. Dominar has a very good low end tourque it can easily do 30-40 at 4gear, and u can use 6th gear at 50-60 speed. went Darjeeling and surroundings, sikkim many times while climbing hills with pillion it just pulls so effortless at 3rd gear under 3.5k rpm and i feel compared to Adv 390 or 250 it has much better low end tourque. 4. Being a dominar owner I can say that each and every words are 100% true , and I am getting 30+ mileage if you ride at 6 no gear maintaining 4k to 6k rpm at a speed of 70 /80kmph , but yes in cities it has a mileage drop which is quite acceptable for being a heavy and high displacement bike , and the pillion seat is comfortable enough to make my friends sleep comfortably on the back with that small backrest 😂, trust me it's way more comfortable than you think !! One of the best power tourer of india but the company should work on the rear pillion comfort.the rear seat is too small and hard.this is the biggest deficiency in this bike which is the only reason most riders dislikes this beast . There is no reason to compromise at comfort with this price tag.
Why you are comparing with KTM machines all the time, u know the differences between a nacked street fighter and a tourer right? Purpose is absolutely different here

I am dominar owner for last 4 years, ill tell go for gixxer 250 or duke 250 weight is going to irritate you after 200 - 300 km otherwise bike is okey, sound is not issue at all its normal but weight and electronics is issues
❤.... Bhai
People looking for cruising and for city daily use and long tour rarely has to be ronin 225 . Very good mileage light weight looks good as well ❤and the exhaust 😫❤
Third class after sale service by tvs unreliable engine
I hate light weight bikes
NYC
Your information is totally wrong,i have also new dominor400, gear indicator ko main display pe vi cala sakte ho,or mileage city main vi 28 ka de deti hain or highway main taa 34+ deti hain,
Bro leave the small console...what ever you can see on small console, you can see it on main dash board also...
One of the best power tourer of india but the company should work on the rear pillion comfort.the rear seat is too small and hard.this is the biggest deficiency in this bike which is the only reason most riders dislikes this beast . There is no reason to compromise at comfort with this price tag.
Love from Nepal 🇳🇵❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
DOMINAR 400 IS BEAST❤
BRO YOU DON'T NO HOW RIDE THIS BIKE
I just started to learn from this ride, I hope so soon I will learn how to Ride.
@@BikerNiladri yes YOU Don't mine Bro but THIS BIKE IS POWERFUL AND MORE STABLE ON HIGHWAY AND PERFORMANCE AND BEST LONG TOURER EVER.
Why you are comparing with KTM machines all the time, u know the differences between a nacked street fighter and a tourer right? Purpose is absolutely different here
Is bhaai ne to sirf domi ki buraai hi ki hai...😂😂😂😂
DOMI400 ergonomics dont suggest it to be as a track race bike.
Apna pass toh blue wali dominar hai 🖤🤫
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Totally biased review by Fan boys. Using Domi 400 UG since 2020 in a crowded place like Bengaluru... Its heavy but RE waaley 190 kg ko classy bolte hai 😂.... Weight is an advantage, the headlight is one of the brightest in the game, you gave it a 7, haha... Longer wheelbase makes it stabler ... Have done 30k + in last four years... Grapes are sour 😊
Bro i think you don’t enjoy riding bikes cus once i had ride this bike and iam fall in love with this machine.
BTW im owner of duke250 , domi have everything which rider expect from the bike.😊
