Vengerov's look when the pianist cut him off early at 1:18 is golden

But is the same note, isn’t it?
he played the note four times in each string

Isaac, yes, the look is golden and funny. But not the pianist cut him off but the editor of the show!

It's so funny to read comments about who is a better violinist, Perlman or Vengerov, Wake up people!!!!! They are both amazing.. Is just that they have diferent styles.. That doesnt means one is better than the otee

Perlman is better! Period. Young Vengerov > Old Vengerov. After he lost his violin and hurt his arm in 2007 he kinda lost it :(

Guys, rather than fight over who plays best, shall we just allow Vengerov his own performance. His tone is sharp, but then again, so is the tone of the piece. There are many ways to play such a piece, and Vengerov plays it in a way that does justice to the music, as well as Perlman. And yes, he is one of the best violinist in the world!

and i have to say i really felt this interpetation ^^.
realy enjoyd his playing. at some points was a pitty the pianist didnt have perfect timing, but i know that is very hard if you work togehter.. because every musican feels it little bit different :)

Although the performance was great, i could not help but notice that Maxim Vengerov frowned at about 1:23-1:25 then in the seconds after, he took a deep breath as continued playing. After analyzing the that moment, I saw that he was glaring for a few seconds, as though he made a mistake. But that could just be intense concentration.

  • @chungtinlong
    @chungtinlong 13 лет назад +3

You can't compare virtuosos by anything but style--how they deliver/intepret the piece. People like Perlman and Vengerov get all the music perfect the way they want it, but it's how you, the audience, want the music to be, that causes you to prefer Perlman/Vengerov!
Different intepretations, you might like Perlman's better, but I don't think you can explain to us what Vengerov did wrong to be not as good as Perlman? It's personal preference! =)

    • @EtteBellina

@@srinitaaigaura I did. That performance has tempo consistency issues throughout and intonation issues at the end. Bazzini, like Paganini, would've been a prime attack target of the Church for this devilishly difficult piece.

  • @mariorobe4805

I wouldn't reply to this, but it was just funny how you two were arguing, we can't compare Perlman and Vengerov, they both have their own styles, their own arguments, their own methods of work, artists can't be really compared, all of us have different opinions.

  • @RafaelQuirinoVex

    I didn't say he's not good, for god's sake, it's Vengerov !!!
All the greats (Heifetz, Milstein, Menhuin, Vengerov...) masterized the violin, but the differences lies in the details. And the more significant to me is that some of them think they're greater than the music itself (Heifetz, Vengerov), and it doesn't help (in my opinion) in the interpretation ...
