i have dry eyes and blurred vision since mid 2020. I went to see an opthalmologist 3xs and was told to do exactly what you recommend. it is May 2023 and I still suffer from these symptoms. I have tension in the back of my neck and i have been going through a lot of stress. I'm thinking this might be the cause? I was recommended by an optometrist to try vision therapy and prisms. My ophthalmologist doesn't recommend it, feels like I will be wasn't my time or my vision can get worse. My eyes always feel tired and i want to close my eyes most of the day. I'm so worried. Can you please help?
My eyes are so dry that it hurts when i blink like someone is cutting them. I have punctal plugs in both eyes and did meibomian gland expression (tho i don't think that is the case). I cannot seem to find a solution to make my eyes better. I use Thealoz duo gel drops throughout the day (preservative free), and Artelac night time gel before sleep, i close my eyes with gel inside and put sleeping mask on. I use air humidifier, hot compresses and i drink omega 3 and also vitamin A, and a lot more. Please help me doctor. I would give everything in the world to live normally again. What can i do to improve my eyes? This is ruining my life. Also i checked my thyroid i dont have Sjorgens or any inner cause of dryness. (Also, schirmer test was insanely low, barely any tears). Edit: the most interesting thing is that my eyes are never red and my vision is never blurred, and rarely my eyes sting. They look healthy from the outside. But from inside i suffer so much. I cannot find a good doctor 🙁
@@DrJeffreyTran It feels like they are just rushing through conversation so that they can get to the next patient, especially when i try to go in details. I feel like they care more about patients that are doing lasik and similar, which provides $$$ to the company. Dry eye patients are not that profitable to them. I was considering scleral lenses, that costs money, maybe i could get more attention that way.
@@Paulo34343 hey. I would look for a doctor that can listen to you. Sometimes, the doctors are busy. I’m sorry for the experience. Ask your doctor about tyrvaya and lipiflow. Maybe that can get you over the hump

It depends how long it takes for your dry eyes to get better. Restasis and other meds can take 2 months before you have a full effect. Are you just using tears?

I am sure you have seen several eye doctors? Do you felt like they spent the time to listen to you?

It depends how long it takes for your dry eyes to get better. Restasis and other meds can take 2 months before you have a full effect. Are you just using tears?
