💖💖💖 ****GEORGE MICHAEL'S VOICE, IS SMOOTHER THAN MELTED BUTTER**** 💖💖💖 THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST COLLABORATIONS IN HISTORY** RIP George Michael, you will forever be loved & missed ❤️❤️❤️
I saw George at Wembley arena in 1990,I think, and Elton joined him to sing this song and it was exactly like this video. Don’t think it was filmed the night I was there but Elton joining George on stage made an amazing night even better.
This is a jam! George Michael is one of my favorite artists ever. It's worth taking a trip down the George and Wham! rabbit hole. I highly recommend the Wham! song/video "Everything She Wants."
Love love Wham! was a pile of fun with their happy poppy music George wrote arranged and produced. Then George went solo and into the stratosphere. I love George Michael. My favorite of all time
@@dbrownthegreat I love it when others realize what a unique and spectacular talent this man was. There are songs than keep my feet tapping and others that bring tears to my eyes. I love the fact that George could write in so many different styles. Great pop songs, killer R & B songs and jazzy stuff too. There is a George song for every mood.
George Michael, what a legend. You need to check out his song 'praying for time'. It just shows you the beauty of the man and his conscience and love for his fellow man.
In a time when 90% of the music is just garbage, there actually was a time not so very ago when artists like George Michael and Elton John made some of the best, most heartfelt music in history. Auto-tune and lip-sync were unheard of and not needed, because real voices and instruments ruled the day...Many of today's artists might be remembered for a decade or two....George's and Elton's music will be listened to as long as there are people still around to hear it...RIP George!
The drummer and piano player in this video were Michael Jackson's main musicians when he went on tour for many of his tours from the Thriller album days all the way up to Michael's death.
@@jayeell1253 Joel the piano player's name is Greg Phillinganes. Greg is the actual one and only that played the piano on some of the most famous songs EVER recorded when they were being recorded in the studios. He was a studio session player as well as a tour piano player for some of the biggest names of all time. Here is a link of Greg playing just the piano by himself and playing some of the songs of famous people that he himself played when the songs were being recorded to record LPs and CDs. This video is going to blow you away. Trust me........ruclips.net/video/svX6WRWBP8o/видео.html
Check out his album Older, a jazz/ soul influenced album. Some of the songs that were b sides like you know that you want to, safe and a bit later a moment with you.
Liked and subscribing! You made me miss George Micheal I never Knew George had Swag and was smooth! I was feeling it with you! When you stopped the video I was like “WTH?” Then busted out laughing when you said you thought that was Lionel Richie! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I know I just joined But thank you for your kind Reactions And we are all equal And you're kindness for not judging me I'm gay,but only God can do that,-judge me and I'm gay,,gotta alot of hurt and pain and anger But its kind, Beautiful people like you... And knowing my momma has a heart And loves me even she controlls her gay son, that's another story of my life But thank you for just your True Reactions And being Beautiful
I may be wrong but at around the 5:40 mark the individual you thought for a second was Lionel Ritchie is George Michael’s friend and former band mate from Wham, Andrew Ridgeley. Love this duet version of Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.
If you get a chance to watch Rocketman the story of Elton John's life... this is one of my favorite Elton John songs it's really amazing. This performance with Elton John was the first performance elton john came out of rehab. He's very nervous to perform sober
Elton the most successful solo artist in Billboard chart history. 7 consecutive US #1 albums from 1972-5! Still having big hits. So many hits, so many hidden treasures too. A brilliant composer and an incredible catalogue to explore. This is the best version of this song. Try also: Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer, Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Candle in the Wind (1973), Your Song, Daniel, Bennie and the Jets, Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, High Flying Bird, Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters, Sacrifice, Curtains, Indian Sunset, Original Sin, I'm Still Standing, Nikita, Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word, The Last Song, Philadelphia Freedom, They Call It The Blues, Levon, Skyline Pigeon, Tonight, I Don't Wanna Go on with You Like That, Empty Garden, The One, I Want Love, Don't Go Breaking My Heart, Crocodile Rock, We All Fall in Love Sometimes, Merry Christmas Everyone, Honky Cat, Sad Songs....
It bothers me that all the reaction channels either review the George/Elton version of this song, or some live version from the ageing (harsh baritone) Elton. Surely the song is completely dependent on the kind of performance and production we have in the original 1974 version. Where Elton still had his young high-tenor voice, and it was produced in Spector/Lennon fashion. (What's that mean? Spoilers - in the original version the first verse actually sounds desolate and disconsolate, mainly because there's acres of space in the mix between EJ, the rhythm section and the guitar...and then we find the studio-sound bigger-but-still-airy when the horns and backing vocals come in. Now that's more like it!)
One of the greatest performances in my 60 plus yrs,of listening to music. Two absolute legends!

Elton had a huge hit with this song in 1974, and then this version with George went to #1 in 1992
So much respect for one another ...you don’t see that anymore.. both class acts

Told you there were lots better songs by Elton than Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting, didn't I?
Dozens better
This is Elton/Bernie song.
The sun isn't the only thing that has gone down on George. Lol
