This isn’t a sling bag, it’s a crossbody bag. A sling bag is worn like a backpack over the arms/shoulders. This is a really cute crossbody bag! I love black and white prints!

thanks for watching this video. I usually use a stopper for a ready-made zipper, just attach it using a bolt. but if you don't have one you can make it using fabric
I’ve watched the video several times, and I’m at the point where I’ve placed the outside of the bag inside and joining them together. I’m watching the video and I don’t see how you are able to sew completely around the bad with the zipper there in the way. I can see stopping where at the 2cm mark where you placed the zipper, and then sewing the gussets, and then continue sewing. But, not continuing around the complete bag without sewing over the zipper. Hopefully, you understand what I’m saying. So, what step am I missing?
sorry if the tutorial is not clear. at 12:27 minutes when joining the outer and inner bags, the end of the zipper not sewn. the end of the zipper is tucked in and if the zipper gets in the way of sewing, it can be held in place with a pin. can you tell me at what minute it is not clear? I will answer it with pleasure
Thanks!!!I figured it out. My problem was sewing the zipper to far from the teeth and not leaving enough room to pin the zipper down for a seem. Initially, I didn’t fold one end of the zipper as shown in the video. Then I realize why you did it. There has to be an easier way to attach the zipper. This part, in my opinion, made the task a little more difficult than it should be. Even with that, the video was great, the bag looked great, and your patience and quick reply to questions were fantastic.

Why can’t I find a tutorial for sling bags that uses inches? Everything that I’ve clicked on, is in centimeters. I am 70 years old and don’t want to have to learn a completely new way of measuring. Can someone make a video with inches, plz. America thanks you…lol
@@GeneralRock114 … yes, that would be great if I used a tape measure, but I’m a quilter and have lots of acrylic rulers and the all are in inches. It’s hard to use a flexible tape measure as a guide to cut fabric, with a rotary cutter. I have since bought a metric ruler and that has helped. Thanks, though.

I'm sorry, all of my videos use centimeters, thank you for the advice in the future I will use videos in inches too
Just use the cm side of your tape measure.
