Hi Chase, any chance of doing a video of changing the PTO from 540 to 1000 RPM, apparently the output shaft gets reversed to switch between the 2 RPM's?
Hey Chase I ran across your videos when searching for troubleshooting ideas on my 8560. I’ve talked to several folks and get different answers but it seems you may have some good input based on your depth of knowledge and experience working on the tractor?! I’ve had the tractor for a couple years and had no issues. Here lately when bush hogging after a while the tractor wants to spontaneously idle idle up as if it’s going to runaway. If I pull back on the throttle lever it will come down but not in a real responsive manner but it will come down slowly. I usually keep going and work the throttle to ensure rpms don’t get too high. During the next few minutes the throttle responds to the throttle lever but not in a very responsive manner. A little movement up will make it go way up and vice versa. Then magically it becomes very responsive again and I’ll set it back at proper pto rpms and will continue to bushhog or disc without any incident. Any troubleshooting ideas? Oil level remains constant. I’ve changed fuel filters. Replaced tps sensor due to blinking light on dash. Is this going to be turbo going or an injector issue or possibly a electrical issue? Any thoughts would be highly appreciated. Local dealer has no decent mechanics and they told me not to bring it to them lol
It sounds like maybe could be a problem with the injector pump. Or possibly an injector. A fuel delivery problem can cause weird issues to. If oil level hasn't changed I wouldn't suspect turbo. EGR valve could also cause weird issues if it's not functioning properly. The engine will run poorly if the EGR valve is stuck open when it shouldn't be and run better if it was stuck closed. Sounds like it could be one of those problems that's hard to pin point, but maybe this gives you a few ideas. I believe that's the downfall of a lot of tractors is the dealers can't fix them... A new Holland dealer had my friends new Holland for 6 mo's before they finally replaced injectors and pump and got it to run. It would run great for like 10 minutes and then throw a low fuel pressure code and derate to just above idle...he went Deere next time in hopes of more knowledgeable mechanics...
I got it going now, I'm behind on my videos a bit. gonna go ahead and release them in order so everyone doesn't have to wait for weeks in between videos.
I have a 1920 series Ford. same coupling set up. new coupling for 30 bucks on wore out splines. still holding and it's a daily hay speer. also u should be able to take out the drive shaft by only removing the pins in the couplings.
Good stuff bud. No cotton gins up here , never seen cotton either :) 50 vids for sure. Looked at them up here and their about the same price as deere new.
I got it going, the next 10 vids I think will be about this process. I'm gonna go ahead and release the vids in order that way everyone won't have to wait weeks in between vids for an update
...hey bud. At the moment i have a Mahindra 3016 shuttle, 4x4. About to get another one, the 9125, with bucket, f-15, mshred shredder. As a fan of Mahindra, how long did it take you to fix this, if, i can ask. I seen where you're a little behind. Kind of interested in what you needeed to do. Thank you kindly for the info. 9125 should be a beast. I'm not sure how long it took just kinda worked on it when I had time it's been fixed a while now go check out my playlist several videos on everything I done, thanks for watching
Almost bet the shuttle shift, is the issue with the clutch. Know of one that was like that. And shuttle took out the clutch. On the paint try Wizards Products Mystic Cut Nano-Sphere Technology Compound Part #11048 Does a great job on that paint. I used Color-back for years. But its off the market. And Wizards is the next best thing. With it and a rag, turns that paint into a new shine. Buffer just faster, but not needed.
Do you want to buy another broken 8560?
Not sure I need another at the moment but what's wrong with it?
I might buy one

I don't know if that's correct or not? I don't have anything that's 1000 pto.
i had it welded and it has 2300hr and working everyday
Great video!

Does this model have the DEF system?
No, this model doesn't have def or a dpf or a doc. Only an egr valve on this model.
Hell of A shop tractor. Great video

Never seen a mahindra that didn’t need a ton of work lol
With the hours it’s nearly ready for a head gasket at least the three I’ve owned were
