when he started hitting the gas with his stomach and his buddy luckily had his hands on the brake so it didnt fly off, and he said its doing it on its own😂😂
I've done the same thing, cut a piece of angle iron the width of the front wall of the box. Few bonds and it's better than before. After this I've always placed a tire without a rim at the front of the truck bed.
I own a new pickup, they need to make the beds and panels heavier..i know they want fuel economy, but really most trucks today need to be a bit more rugged,
This is why i have a bedliner and tool box. I have hit my tool box before with my winch small dent in the tool box is better than bustin out my back window
@@ROTAXD You're an asshole. Maybe you pay a little more for the toolbox but at least you HAVE the toolbox to show for your money. Breaking the back glass and then having to pay to replace it is stupid.
Before I attempt something new and risky I look and see if there are "How Not To" videos on RUclips. So I bought a cargo trailer so I won't damage my ATV, motorcycle, truck or me. Now I'm watching "How not to blow up a microwave with tannerite". Quite a few good tips.
Always put it in low gear and 4x4. Then crawl up and don't stop on the ramp. I usually put a piece of 3x4 plywood against the cab so I don't hit the window or dent the bed.
a couple 4x4s in the bed let the wheels hit the wood and gives a good stop before you do that. So many problems loading here. I'm a "safety third" dude at times... but trailers and loading are not something I ever gamble on.
At least it's hard to see that damage from outside the truck...I backed my dad's 2014 F-150 SuperCrew STX 5.0 4x4 Sport Package into my cousin's road's mailbox set. Sent all the boxes halfway across the road (one had my cousin's video game in it and none of the boxes closed after that. And I broke the welds on the posts) and dented under the tail light, dented the tailgate and scratched it, scratched and bent the bumper, and broke a tail light. The kicker: the truck had 11,000 miles on it.
Here I was reading your previous comments thinking you had more than 2 brain cells, then you hate on Ford which proves your ignorance and lack of knowledge on trucks and 4 wheelers
No helmet ! And once on the bed try using “ N “ for neutral . Push the bike up to the front of the bed . Or just plow right on through like you were doing .
+Roman Jungwirth From my understanding V tread tires do have more grip backwards. Issue is, going backwards the tires can't clean themselves out like they are designed, hence once you get into mud to or snow, they'll clog up and become useless. So it's actually better having the tire on the proper way, that way the threads can work as designed and fling excess dirt away, instead of clogging.
Justin Lynch If you put directional tires on the right way they dig like a shovel in reverse and just bury themselves, I run Maxxis Bighorns which are not directional so I can back out of bad situations without burying myself.
Still isn't that a reason to put them on the right way. Lets say a Mug Lite has more traction going backward then forward. If you've got the tires on the right way and you start getting stuck, since they have more traction backing up, they could possibly help you reverse out of a sticky situation, right? So say you have the tires reversed and get stuck. Your already at the tires max capability at that point. Trying to reverse at that point would only, as you said, dig you down further. Basically you fuck yourself by reversing the threads, do you not?
same my friend did that also in a dakota when over the wheel wells and threw the back window... wouldnt of been so back or expensive cept for the fact it was a sliding window
To be honest I have a trailer I use but I use the bed of my truck for a bunch of other shit when I haul scrap and I think all trucks now need to be at least a little more rugged as far as the box goes. I put a compressor from an air unit in the back of mine and now I gotta a pretty big dent on the tailgate from the compressor tapping it when I put it over
tell me about. It's a beautiful truck but that's what it's made for. That little bit of damage is nothing to cry over. I'm surprised loading went as well as it did.
You know...20 years ago, guys worked their trucks 10x harder then today...and you did'nt see the trucks getting beat to shit by fucktards claiming "that's what trucks are for". Working a truck is one thing. Not giving a shit about it is something else entirely.
+Old Geek "what's the matter with loading the way he does it?"... I think the video was exhibit #1, no buffer to prevent atv from hitting truck... exhibit #2 will be the next video of the ramps shooting out from under him and the wheeler knocking the soul out of him due to not anchoring said ramps. Trust me, I have earned the right to say he's doing it wrong... because I still do (even after all of the above mentioned happened to me). lol
Lucky the ramps didn't kick out
Yup he is extra lucky
when he started hitting the gas with his stomach and his buddy luckily had his hands on the brake so it didnt fly off, and he said its doing it on its own😂😂
*Leans forward onto the throttle* " it's not me it's not me!" lol these guys need to take a brake from wheeling.
Strap the ramps, put it in 4 low and go. Steady and smooth, dont fing stop on the ramps. Little scary the first time you do it but after that its easy
Well they shouldn't have parked the truck facing a decline like that to begin with.
Put an old tire up front or high density foam mattress.
Billy.. STEP AWAY FROM THE ATV!!
its a truck..
I was more worried about the window
me too
+J Bingo. However, I do sympathize because some people by trucks simply because it's illegal to make large cars now. So it's a car, for them.
It's a truck but that's a pretty big dent
I've done the same thing, cut a piece of angle iron the width of the front wall of the box. Few bonds and it's better than before. After this I've always placed a tire without a rim at the front of the truck bed.
+Stephen Luciak A long time ago my dad did this with a dodge dakota. Shattered the back window.
I own a new pickup, they need to make the beds and panels heavier..i know they want fuel economy, but really most trucks today need to be a bit more rugged,
+Spahi77 trucks are cars now (not for work)
+jaymanxxxx wether it is for work or not you don't want to tear it up.
No, they don't "need to make the beds and panels heavier". People need to learn how to load their wheelers. Period. End of story.
You’re Chevy has a steel bed, It should be one of the toughest trucks around. Ford is weak.
@@ROTAXD Not everyone is an expert, like you.
Bedliner and a short piece of 4"x4" and you are gold.
That's why you get a spray liner in the box of your truck!
Or an old tire against the bed
This is why i have a bedliner and tool box. I have hit my tool box before with my winch small dent in the tool box is better than bustin out my back window
A backglass is far cheaper then a toolbox.
@@ROTAXD You're an asshole. Maybe you pay a little more for the toolbox but at least you HAVE the toolbox to show for your money. Breaking the back glass and then having to pay to replace it is stupid.

True. I keep one around my belly.
Thats why they have that rev limiter while your in reverse. lol!
+Kyle Gale That was funny.

Did the same thing when I was 13 but went threw my dad's back window 😂😂😂
remember the good old days when ya had to lift the ATC/QUAD IN/OUT of the truck ??? .... then there's this guy.. 😥

Michael Dobbin There was a time when people weren't smart enough to get 2 good pieces of lumber?

This would have been a great three(two) stooges short.......
I use a chunk of cut wood up front to avoid this. front wheel was not turning last several feet so brake was applied, slick bed too
Good loading 🤠 ...next time strap your ramps, it's not a bad idea!!
It’s always a Billy 😆
guy on the quad is a straight up amateur and shud not have been allowed to load the wheeler in the first place
No, he's a fucktard with 0 common sense. An amatuer with 2 braincells to rub together would've done better.

Ooooohh Billy!!!!
You know how you could have prevented this. Load it with the truck leveled or the truck going up hill not down hill like it is.
I'll load your bike mr.foreman!
uh... have you done it before Billy?
Oh fuck yeah, all the time boss!
King quad you mean
I meant foreman as in supervisor. I probably shouldn't have chose a name that is also shared with an ATV
kx85kid kawasaki all the way
he did say mr.foreman even though foreman is a four wheelers name ive never heard of a four wheeler named mr.foreman
oh
+Hunt Guy you've never heard of a honda foreman ?

That's why you should always put a tire in front of the windshield so that doesn't happen
What would tire in front of the windshield do? Wouldn't you be better off putting a tire behind the rear window?
kurt3543 that what I meant lol
first dent always hurt
when I first started watching the video I thought he was going to go through the back window of the truck
Watching the string of failed quad loads that are suggested, I guess I never realized it was that complicated or difficult...
trailer is cheaper than that dent
all i use is a 3X3 sheet of 3/4 plywood proped up, never an issue
Why are his tires on backwards?
+Sleeper Iroc To get better traction. they work better backwards.
Roman Jungwirth Only in reverse.

He’s gonna need that Aflac
My winch will hit the bed before anything can hit the window
I've been there before. .. except i went right through the glass lol, after that i bought a trailer
same my friend did that also in a dakota when over the wheel wells and threw the back window... wouldnt of been so back or expensive cept for the fact it was a sliding window
You can tell by the guy that laughing that it’s not HIS truck
Chevy would of ate that hit and asked for some more
And that’s why their called headache racks
Watch cloesly at the tires. He brakes in time but because it doesn't have a bed liner the snow made it slippery and he slid.
To be honest I have a trailer I use but I use the bed of my truck for a bunch of other shit when I haul scrap and I think all trucks now need to be at least a little more rugged as far as the box goes. use a old ATV tire to bump against and save your window , he got lucky they usually smash when you touch them
hahahahahaha I did the same and broke the glass hahahaaj
Got brakes?
Just add alcohol and it gets better for Billy! To be continued......lol
I back my atv into the bed. That way the tires will hit the bed wall before any hard parts.
Military grade aluminum bed?
Always that one idiot, but today we can enjoy two
Put a couple old tires against the back panel/window next time.
Short boxes are for hauling groceries, not equipment.
Your tires are mounted backwards.
..you'll get better bite if you reverse them.
It seems like with his wheels backwards he should have been pro enough for this not to happen
The what a trucks for! Beat the bed

Haha He almost fucked the four wheeler and himself up too leaning onto the throttle in reverse
Daaaaammm Daniel!
BILLLLLLYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
Looks like Im buying a trailer when I get my ATV.
How do these people even make it through life?...
You should have placed a tire between the bed and the front of the quad.
Billy let go the truck, its not going anywhere, and shut it down hahaha. Sorry man, ove been there..... kinda
thats y i have a long bed and have a tool box
Stuffing your wheeler into your toolbox is just as bad as wadding up the back of the bed. Learn how to drive.
Your girl likes the long bed too.
@@ROTAXD You're an asshole.
Well at least there is more room in the bed every inch counts
I did that once with a Polaris Sportsman 6-wheeler. Blew out the back window of my Dodge Dakota. In the middle of winter. Duh.
It's a truck don't even worry about that little ding
Genius
your tires are on backwards, just FYI.
So that's why my trucks bed was bent when I bought it
they could have just pushed it into place for that last little bit
Why is it, that it always seems to be the f150's getting the back window damaged or broke!?🤔
put a fn block in front of the front tires
$50,000 Truck and a $7000 ATV..Where is the $1000 trailer..
Oh, it's paying for the Back Glass..my Bad..
always use a stopper
Next truck get a spray on bedliner for traction
That's one of them 700s I have one of those
I went throu the comments I'm surprised no one said its a ford
+back woods lol just watched is and was gona say it

I like ford tho so
+back woods box of chevys will bend the same.. ive seen it lots.
Mike p i know they will but doesnt every one bash fords and it was a joke ok evan a car or a trailer will bend like that
why not load it on level ground. some people just don't get it.

Real trucks have an 8' bed.
8' beds are just for over compensating douchebags, 6 1/2' is all any normal person needs
8' beds are pointless unless you always have a lot of shit in your bed
STX & TRX real men are sometimes required to carry 8’ plywood in their trucks
Real men use a trailer
+Marshall pretty much. I could fit more stuff in the trunk of my Oldsmobile than a tiny 6.5' bed, lol.
It didn't break apart. Got Duc tape?!?!
WOW
oh Billy......
What the heck are brakes used for? lol
hahahaha!!oops..
Could have been much worse… he didn’t strap down the ramp either

Could have been way worse…. He didn’t strap the ramps down either. Those ramps could slide out at any time…. Super dangerous.
sometimes life suck...

should of hand his hands on the brakes once halfway up the ramp
