- A couple caught with three kilos of cocaine in their hand luggage claim they have been set up by Customs. In Manchester, bags belonging to a celebrity chef give massive readings for cocaine. The man eventually confesses that he's carrying cocaine in his pants.
In Gatwick and Bristol Airports in England customs agents check baggage and travellers to uphold allowances and prevent illicit activity and substances from entering the UK.

I love how the strongest language the man can come up with to curse the customs officer is, 'You're cheeky.' Good thing he didn't escalate to, 'you are being very naughty.'
I can't stop laughing. Imagination overdrive

What was suspicious was that when she was stopped for questioning, the guy just tried to walk by, leaving her, although he said they were traveling together. You don't leave someone you're traveling with when they're being questioned.
She's clearly a meth user. Look at the sores on her arms. She's been picking at her skin.
And the rucksack that happened to have the drugs was hidden under the exam table hoping they would overlook it during the search. Lol. They’re guilty AF. Lol😂

Exactly! My thoughts too! The package weighs about 6 pounds and is very bulky.
He obviously knew.. not only tried leaving the bag on the floor hoping she wouldn't notice, but remember he tried leaving passed his gf when she first got stopped

I work for FedEx I deliver to a k9 training building one time the trainer let her two dogs come at me barking and they were not cute and I never go inside the building even if when she said stop they did immediately maybe next round they won’t
They are super cute. What I don't get is why that guy risked so much for bringing in such a tiny amount of cocaine? Like, okay, I don't know anything about cocaine, but it seems to me that that was just for personal use, he wasn't selling it or anything. So why take the risk??
Not that I'm saying it's okay to use it. It's not. But, like, I get why smugglers and dealers risk getting caught, it's cause they're gonna make a bunch of money. But that guy, he wasn't gonna make money, seems like it was just a bit for his personal use, so....
....so why take that risk? He had everything to lose, and nothing to gain.
No way would you not notice that your bag is 3.5 kgs heavier 😂
If someone takes your personal belongings from you in an airport, only to return them, you go straight to the nearest police or security officer and report it! You don't just think "that was odd, and my bag feels heavier - probably nothing".

The reality is for every person who gets caught multiple people got through. Remember when he checked the anomaly and it was just a chocolate bar? @@tractorfeed7602 I would think the best thing to do would be to run away, but to them go and report it to someone at the airport. Well, if their defense plan is to claim that the drugs were planted they need to establish that early to appear as credible as possible. If they don't say that until later it''s going to look even more like they just made it up
Why ANYONE brings drugs through customs is totally beyond me. There are so many ways to detect drugs these days that I can't imagine everyone doesn't know this and why anyone would try to risk getting years in jail for getting caught.

@@gbeez2303 … no way for them to be sure they would get it back though. Unless they were planting them on you to distract customs, decreasing their own chances of getting caught, this really wouldn’t happen. Plus most of those people are recruited, they just aren’t told they’ll be a sacrificial lamb.
Edit:… in short, your chances of being struck by lightning are higher than you being turned into a mule while in the loo.
Because most of the drugs go unnoticed all the time. The customs are just guessing who to stop and who to ignore. The sniffer dogs are their main resource but not used 24/7 and all around the airports. It is easy to bring drugs or anything else in. By the way, even sniffer dogs are useless as they are wrong 75 % of the time, yet any indication from the dog gives these bullies the right to detain and strip search you.
Hahahaaaaaa mate! Like 95% of it goes through you know that right?!

Nice invention of "career advancement", any other speculations you want to share?
It's not a criminal court, or even similar to being randomly stopped on the street by a police officer. It's a customs check at an international port of entry. Serious lawyer question. When UK law enforcement keeps saying, "It may harm your defense if you don't answer my questions...", does that mean that guilt can be inferred from silence in the UK?
probably more lenient, an incentive for you if you cooperate, saves tax dollars to get you sorted and out of the court system then into prison or out of their hair. Considering this is a purely socialist system that's paid with tax dollars, these small time saving implements probably matter more than in a business driven environment like in the USA, where you can just pass on the buck down the line in the name of business.
Even in the U.S. an accused defendant who waits for months or years before bringing forth an alibi or "innocent explanation" that he knew about and could very easily have presented to investigators much earlier will have made the last-minute story seem a bit like a desperate lie to a reasonable judge or jury, thus harming the defendant's defense. The UK explains this in their version of our Miranda warning.
@@johnstuartsmith Sure. Got no problem with that. But what of the defendant that actually invokes right to remain silent (i.e., silent till the end)? 1. 'Did you pack the bags yourselves?'
Always followed immediately by:
2.'So you're aware of the contents of the bags?'
As though the two propositions are naturally, automatically equivalent.
They're not, and they know they're not, and this is a trap.
Packing your bags, and being aware of what's in them hours later, after they've been out of your possession for hours and handled by complete strangers, are not the same things at all.
If you automatically and carelessly answer 'yes' to the second question, and then they find bad things in your bags, you have already compromised your position by acknowledging, 'for the record', that 'you knew it was there'. This is exactly the game they're playing, and exactly why.
But heaven help you if you start to equivocate on the second question (as you should); get ready to be 'taught a lesson!'
It's not any accident that they pair these questions so directly, so smoothly, always (even implying that they're equivalent propositions by linking them together with '...so...'), and I don't know why they're even allowed to do it.
They shouldn't be. It's sheer entrapment.

Well, 1,500 kilos of cocaine has a street value of about eighty million dollars straight up (almost 60 million pounds). That's just monetary value; the purpose of combating drugs like cocaine goes beyond the effects to the economy. People will die / be harmed / become addicted from use. Between that, and the eighty million a year, I'd say it's worth it. The cost to society from turning a blind eye to a ton-and-a-half of cocaine is too high. Nearly 22 years ago I traveld on a flight from Zurich to Genoa (Italy) and was detained at the airport for a long while.

So I took a flight to Genoa and planned to take a train to Pisa and then to Florence.
The officers in Genoa thought is was unusual for an Indian national to land in Genoa from Zurich.
They first took nearly 1.5 hours to clear my immigration.
I got very restless and a bit aggressive.
Then they let me go but detained me at the customs and seached my luggage thoroughly.
They found nothing and the office told me I can repack my stuff. Then the officer told his boss that he let me go but came back with him.
The senior officer searched again and took out all my stuff and did a micro search. Finally he said I could go.
But I asked him to repack my stuff. He was shocked. He said he wouldn't do it.
I told him once I repacked but then they couldn't do it as many times as they wish.
The officers were very surprised but the senior asked his junior to repack.
After coming out of the airport I remained just outside the customs office for nearly half an hour making phone calls from an airport phone.
The guys were looking at me from inside and talking something.
The junior customs officer was repacking I asked him why I was being treated like this.
He said the immigration thought it was strange that I took Genoa as port of entry instead of Rome or Florence or Milan.
Illegals are a big problem in Europe
If they just stopped with this dumb drug prohibition half of the customs and airport security work would simply cease to exist. We could invest the money in better help and prevention work for addicts.
The agitated guy calling them "robbers" seems just like other smokers I know who haven't had a ciggy in a while
Again, scratching my head on British law. Officer said, you two are arrested. No handcuff and they still get to touch their belongings by carrying their bags and following the officer. WTF?
I guess thats the type of stuff that happens when you don't have a populace prone to resisting and assaulting law enforcement? Or maybe since they are already in a controlled environment with cameras everywhere and additional officers nearby, there is less risk to them.
This is normal in most of Europe
He didn't even shoot either of them.....strange
Don’t have millions of firearms like the US, the threat is much less, I notice when they do cuff it’s in the front.
Very polite suspects.
He should have tested the chocolate bar for cocaine. Everything else was coming back positive.
I'M LIKE WHY ?!YOU KNOW THERE IS A CHECKPOINT AT THE AIRPORT RESPECT
You look like an Alien 👽
Cap lock on.
The "CELEBRITY CHEF" GOT ROASTED. He thought that was going to save him😝
I don’t understand why people would resort to drugs when being sober is the most awesomest thing in the world to enjoy life.
Because not everyone was given the same cards as you. Your statement is pretty ignorant. There’s plenty of people who’s sobriety does nothing to help them. Plenty of people born with chemical differences and imbalances, etc. Be grateful for the cards you were dealt without looking down upon others.
@@MKUltraXOXO-c3r We are all given the same cards, it’s either you choose South or North.
@@createinmeacleanheartohgod6871 not at all
@@createinmeacleanheartohgod6871 nope. I wish that was true. Take me for example, I was born with a condition called SRD (serotonin deficiency) and I wake up everyday sad. I don’t have a choice whether I’m sad or not, only what I do to combat it. I’m older now so I realize there is no cure, but when I was younger I turned to drugs to find a solution/relief. When you’re born into a body like that, and being suicidal or sad is all you know, it completely effects your brain development and how you think you should responsibly handle things because all you want to do is feel “normal”. Not everyone is like this, but it’s very ignorant to say that everyone was handed the same cards just because you haven’t had to suffer through some things others may have.
So true!
"I do escorting on the side"
They are super nice when arresting people. Also how come I've never randomly found a large amount of drugs in my luggage?
"offices are working out the SCALE of the crime".... *zooms in on scale* ... cheeky narrator I like it
Once I was asked by UK customs to give my phone so they could check if I got the right terminal. The customs person was reading my personal messages. I asked for the manager to complain and I had to wait 2 hours for him. I said they have to provide the right equipment to let customs do their job and not use my phone instead, certainly not to read my personal messages, that is breach of privacy. The customs person (female) threatened not to let me enter the terminal if I did not provide my phone.
Scumbags, all of them. I barely catched up with my flight home.
They don't make it easy on shady looking people .You should allow yourself extra time
@@sarahann530 Haha. Shady looking people in a business suit? lol.
@@indridcold2872 Obviously you looked out of place .
@@sarahann530 ofcourse. With traveling 80% per year. Surely.
@@indridcold2872 Perhaps it was your inability to write a sentence in English made them suspicious
Drug dog didn't alert on his backpack carrying 3.5kg of cocaine. Maybe the dog should alert on blurry faces.
I enjoy watching what people do to get drugs and cigarettes into the country just could you please put some newer ones I'm sure this hasn't stopped
"I'm a celebrity chef on F*** I*!" OMG the height of fame. "But right at this moment, I feel very embarrassed".....LOL
Love watching these, Great job👏
When they find a small amount of coke they think they are great.
Considering the effort it took just to end up only finding 2 grams, they may as well have just let him go 😂
the officer was hungry for his "first arrest" 🙄
I would have just snort the whole 2g
Is "Not my bag in my bag" the same as "Not my pocket in my pants?" 🤔
