I haven't met many people that thought California rolls and Philly rolls originated in Japan.

Teriyaki chicken may not be available in all restaurants, but teriyaki flavor is a favorite and very common among the Japanese.
I think your opinion is biased and lacking in understanding.
Secondly, in Japan we are taught to be kind to others as a social example.
Culturally, we are also kind to others. Therefore, courtesy, culture, and kindness are intertwined and cannot be separated.
Japan's culture, climate, and traditions are among the longest in the world and very difficult to understand.
It is a fraud to speak as if one knows everything when one knows only the superfluous aspects of its culture.

Thanks for your comment! I did say that teriyaki is a food most commonly cooked at home and many Japanese families have their own recipes. But in America, teriyaki is a staple in every Japanese restaurant, so this warning was for Americans traveling to Japan, as they may expect to find teriyaki dishes regularly in restaurants, which they unfortunately won't. I didn't say anything about teriyaki not being Japanese nor not being a favorite.
The kind vs polite is also a comment directed to foreigners. I am not saying that Japanese people are not kind, but it's to differentiate the fact that the great behavior and hospitality that Japanese people provide should not be taken advantage of. Individuals foreign to Japan with no experience in Japanese culture or relationships may misconstrue Japanese politeness for something more. For example, a waitress or waiter at a bar showing courtesy and kindness is normal in Japan, but a foreigner may interpret it as something different - maybe to the extent favoritism or flirting. When in reality that is the normal nature of service in Japan, which you don't always get outside of Japan because of cultural differences.
      Hope that makes sense!

In Korea, China, and the United States, This scene is completely normal and common . but,
I have never seen anything like this in Japan.
The direction is good. You are engrossed in a negative campaign against Japan by scattering trash on clean roads and taking pictures. Koreans often do the same thing, and There was also someone who took pictures of Korean roads and advertised them as Japanese roads. You have other things to do (laughs).

Thanks for the comment. You might be looking at only the thumbnail instead of the entire video. I do say Japan is one of the cleanest places, but even it can be dirty before trash pickup and in other instances. I wholeheartedly agree that Japan as a society does very well in cleaning up after themselves; a great example of this is how Japanese students spend time after school to clean the classrooms, which is culturally not something that people do in other places in the world.

people seem to have a love/hate relationship with Japan. Some people say: 'Japan is perfect country. Japan is like a utopia!" while others say "Japan is an absolute hellhole! Japan has so many social issues! such as blah blah blah". People literally have no middle views on Japan at all. There are really few people like you who give a neutral opinion about Japan on social media.

I think a lot of ppl have expectations when they go and its whether it lives up to those expectations or not. I love it but also realize its far from perfect. Granted, people don't share their "middle views" about anything on social media cause its all about shock factor now, many ppl only wanna hear if anything is amazing or terrible.

Also carry tissues (or grab one of the many handed out). Most places provide toilet paper, but it only takes one experience running into a rest stop that doesn’t for devastation to set in.

so valid! especially depending where you are - like that first time when you go into a bathroom and they're all squat toilets @_@
