Ok thanks. I'm in Vegas now. Thanks for explaining. I'm playing an older slot 5 line 88 fortunes. I hit the major for 810 dollars on a 1.67 dollar bet. So Im guessing that need to check paytable then as some machines the major and grand are not eligible on the lower bets. That was yesterday. Was 38 dollars in 950 out. Had some nice line hits. Played it for a few hours, twice today. Mainly 88 cent bet profited another $ 250 and got lots of Casino points. I won 100 dollars on another different slot earlier so it's all free money. My new favorite machine for now. And yes the pot closing is totally random have gotten 3 pot closings in 20 minutes and one time it took almost an hour! Money can last a long time in these machines.
Thank you Mike for doing what my brain can’t do: break it down to the (golden) ingot! I’m so excited to know what the ingot is! I lost $20 on this game in the casino tonite after losing some of my hard earned video poker winnings. I never knew why coins floated up into the bowl. Now I know…And that’s random lid closing nonsense. Please do more of these videos! Q: What starting grand jackpot amount for 88 fortunes is considered most attractive?
Hello, I play it every time I go to Harrahs, and have hit the grand on 6/1/24 for 18300.00 on 1.76 bet and after being on the machine for 15 minutes. I have been wondering if the coins actually are flashing each of the four different coins under each gold coin and that if you pick the coin at the time it is in the rotational of either of them then it pops up? I have also wonder if the closing of the pot has something to do with the position of the each winning combination on the main game? Any opinions?
Good video. Thank you. How about explaining Rising Fortunes. When you bonus it offers two types of bonus, free games or top up. Which bonus should be played? This has always confused me.
@@TheOddsMustBeCrazy I remember you saying that if they don't show unpicked choices it was predetermined but when they do show the unpicked choices it was user determined.
@@Swiftskice That is the difference. Evidently, if the machine shows the unpicked choices, the selection was user controlled. If it doesn't, it was predetermined.

are the odds know for the diffrent jackpots? Mini, Minor, Major, Grand? or is that a secret?
If you get a nugget in the pot it blocks the pot from falling
Acaldabelin❤
are there any slots where the bonus game jackpot is not predestined?
Yes. I can't think of a good example off the top of my head, but in about half involving a player choice, the player does control hit own destiny.

@@IllPropaganda Yes, I stand by that.

The more you bet the more gold the casino will end up with 😂
I get gonged every time I go to a casino
Those Slot Machines to me are not appealing at all. I prefer the old school type but Video Poker is the best.
