    Good stuff man. I'd have to say simpsons hit and run and road rage are veet hard to find black label. As well as spyro enter the dragonfly. Those were tough for me to find black. I agree with the rest of your picks too. That crash bandicoot man soo rare black label

      Ya they mass produced a lot of this games as Players Choice yellow labeled while the black are becoming more and more difficult to track down in the wild

    When you say in the wild meaning:? Yard sales and flee markets and thrift stores? Because On facebook market (meet) you can find most of them. Great collection and is hard to believe you got most of these in the past 5 months in the "wild" for cheap but respect for going for the set.

    • @lyfeoftaygaming
      @lyfeoftaygaming  Год назад +1

      I didn’t say I got most of them for cheap haha some of these titles you gonna have to spend some cash on or trade but how I’m calculating it every game I’ve purchased or added to the collection for example if I spent $2200 I divided that by 350 titles I’ve added to my collection and it comes to like $6 per title on average so some like fire emblem if I spent $169 on it pushes my average spent price upward which I really try to avoid because I’m trying to collect this set with the least amount spent out of pocket but sometimes it’s unavoidable.

      @lyfeoftaygaming  Год назад +1

      I for sure include Facebook marketplace as in the wild you can find a lot on there but finding the gems for a great price is pretty rare nowadays atleast in my area but I’ve lucked out at some local thrift shops if you go back and watch some of my preview videos you will see how many I started with Jan 1st 2023

    2 of those I've seen recently. Soul calibur and crazy taxi.

    • @lyfeoftaygaming
      @lyfeoftaygaming  Год назад +1

      Did you grab them ? Crazy taxi I feel is almost always yellow blends in with the cover though

    • @atomiswave1971
      @atomiswave1971 Год назад +1

      @@lyfeoftaygaming I did not pick them up. I am from the UK but I collect USA gamecube versions. However I have soul calibur and crazy taxi on dreamcast and that is enough for me on those titles. I will buy exclusives on cube that never came out elsewhere. Cube is unnecessarily expensive for what it is.

      @@atomiswave1971 I feel the Cube holds up very well for graphical standards nowadays ya grabbing exclusives makes the most sense if I’m being honest but set collecting is a cool feeling if someone mentions a hidden gem 💎 you can try it because you have the entire library

      @@lyfeoftaygaming The USA is the best place to do what you're doing, the homes are huge to store lots of things. The USA editions of games are probably the best versions to have because in the era of old consoles the tv standard in your country is NTSC which is the same as Japan. so whilst you got progressive scan, component cables and all that sort of stuff we didn't get any of that. Our games in the UK have squished graphics and slow down by as much as 17% (pre HDMI era). I always imported from Japan and USA to circumvent this and buy a multi system TV. Problem is if I wanted to go full set USA I would have to import it all. I do like the GC, I have a purple and Spice orange system both with matching GBA players. They are Japanese and both modded. I have about 20 titles at most and all are USA editions. I am quite old (51) and most of my collection was bought when new. I just don't sell much. I'm not a bargain hunter or anything. Strangely I lived in the USA for 6 years from 2000-2006 and quite a lot of my collection was bought during that time. I value 16bit the most as I like the era with 2D sprite artwork and I like the cartridges and box art. I boycott anything Xbox, Wii, Wii U and most handheld. Can't collect everything.
