So nice to see you again and I can’t believe how much and how many socks you got done while doing so much. The summer has been so busy for you. I hope you get settled in your new place and enjoy your sewing classes. I started sewing again also and I’m enjoying it so much. Hope you have a fun two weeks and I will see you soon again. ✌🏼
Another great podcast ladies. Kim-to prevent laddering on small circumstance knitting, you might try "Knitting in Round on Two Circular Needles". It's not magic loop-in the traditional sense. You can size the last stitch properly since it's still on the back needle when you start knitting with the front needle. It's what I use for all my sleeves since my hand can't handle the shorties either without aching after awhile. Thanks for sharing.
Trying on Apple is fantastic, dare I say even better than Catastrophe(?!?!?). Every episode has me in tears which results in frogging 30 minutes of knitting. The designer behind the Michah sweater has a lovely podcast called Hannah Knits and she is adorable and pregnant. The tractor sweater is amazing. How fun would it be to go into my old knits and start duplicate stitching?, yeah, not happening. Such a treat to get on YT and see another podcast from you three, and so soon!!!
I always look forward to your podcasts because it always includes great knits, but I also love to hear about your knitting adventures. Kate, Owls Head is a beautiful place. I was happy to hear you talk about On The Round yarn because it is one of my favorites, and Rachel has said that her business is struggling. She relies on social media for advertising, but recent changes in the algorithms have kept people from seeing her posts. I am so glad you enjoyed Owls Head. There are several great yarn shops along the way, including Cashmere Goat in Camden and Mother of Purl in Freeport.
Great episode! I just read "Sandwich" and I read it one day on a 2-flight journey cross country trip. Loved it! Also just finished "Year of Wonders" published years ago by Geraldine Brooks and loved it. So many great projects...great episode!
You ladies are so fun!! I love the camaraderie among you--so fun!! Kate, that duplicate stitching is amazing!! I always enjoy seeing what you are knitting. Kim--two large sweaters!! Wow!! Laura, that baby sweater is adorable! I'm making Eva Cardigans for my 3 grandsons for Christmas. Stay cool in your heat and humidity! I live in northern CA and it's over 100 most days lately, but luckily no humidity. Praying for sweater weather!!
Love you ladies, I’ve been faithfully watching since the beginning! You guys crack me up! Yes, I am watching now!!! Cannot believe Laura remembers me from PUES☺️❤️Plan on stopping by on the 20th…looking forward to meeting Kevin and Ray too!
Thanks so much for sharing; it is always a joy to watch your podcast! The Sonya shirt just moved up my queue, Laura, yours is stunning! Kim, I just finished All the Colors of the Dark this week. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Hope you get some cooler weather soon.
As always Thankyou for such a fun podcast. I absolutely laugh out loud with watching the fun banter and things that are said. So much fun as well as great simple knits that fit into your wardrobes. I have watched every episode since the beginning. Saying hi from Australia !!
You ladies are so entertaining and down to earth. I always take something away from your podcasts. So many knits to put on the want list. Have a great summer.

Kim, on your podcast the sweater looks like the collar is similar to a turtleneck. Did you make modifications to the pattern? I love the way your sweater looks. Thanks

I am very jealous that you have so many LYS options. My closest shop, other than JoAnn or Michaels, is 45 min away and is about the size of a walk-in closet. There are cerainly others further away but those trips are hard to justify for limited purchases. I find I do more of my shopping online so I really appreciate all of the information you provide about the yarns you use. It has definitely influenced a few purchases.
If you want to make the scrubbies and don't haveva loom there is a crochet pattern for scrubbies called scrubby set. It just uses scrubby yarn , but I don't see why you couldn't do the held double version. I just use bernat crafters cotton for disclothscand it works well.
