I listen to her and think wow she has such an amazing voice I could never be as good as her, then I scroll down the comments and was shook haha I guess it’s perception or my lack of knowledge
She has a nice voice but I have some critique: It was hard to watch the beginning because it was dragging from a lack of blocking/acting. But that's partially on the director for blocking it like that. Cinderella has a great voice-although there were times it didn't totally sound like Cinderella But she definitely has talent and potential! Her voice would sound more natural in a more modern/pop setting musical, like Hairspray or Mean Girls. Her acting wasn't bad, but can tell she's not trained. Working on that would help her. Overall, it wasn't bad! Again, she has a nice strong voice even if it's not exactly "classic"! Most mistakes would have been solved with better directions/more training.
People are criticizing, but I think she sounds really good. I see what they're talking about with the pop-like voice, but she actually sings it very similarly to Laura Osnes, who was Cinderella in the Broadway production in 2013.
I feel that were a lot of swoops and odd dynamics in the song. I agree she is talented and has a lovely voice but... somethings were awkward and too "popish" for such a classical show and piece. she should do more pop and contemporary stuff but not classical musical theatre
It could have been better. But with some training and lots of practice, and see no reason why she couldn't pursue musical theater if she wanted too. She has the beginnings of a musical theater voice.
She has an incredible voice but she would be the artist who does a cover of a Disney song, not the princess, if that makes any sense. Like you would never cast Demi Lovato as Elsa, but she does a great pop cover of Let it Go. Basically, I love her voice and hate it for this song.
Did you guys rent those costumes from TheCostumer? Cause the Stepmother's dress looks exactly like the dress I wore as Carlotta in Phantom, for Don Juan.
They're also an American high school, so getting an entire cast to do authentic French or English accents just wouldn't be very realistic. Personally, I don't see why an accent really matters as long as they do a good job on the performance, they portray the classic story, and they put their hearts into it. This is not an attack on you either, I would just like to say.

I loved this she's young and noone is gonna sing exactly like Cinderella. I love the effort it's amazing

the thing is is that why is it american? Cindrella is fresh or English and she's singing in an american accent!
