Manson and Lavey became friends after first meeting at Anton's "Black House" in San Francisco in 1994. 2 years later Manson released his best selling album Antichrist Superstar.
In 1996 I became paralyzed the first time I heard the song Beautiful people on the radio. In 2001 I was riding my bike along the St. Joseph river when a voice said " go to that park bench in the middle." I said "what?" Then voice then said again, "go to that park bench." I said "no", then it said it a third time and I said "ok, fine!" I get off my bike and I walk to the 3 park benches about 30 feet away under a pavilion over looking the river. I look down and there was a book sitting there. I picked it up and it said "The long road out of Hell", Marilyn Manson's autobiography. When I got home I told my girlfriend April what had happened and she was freaked out so I threw the book away.
Not too long after that book incident I went to Detroit with my best friend Life. When we got home to Ft. Wayne I went over to Life's house and a red orb came down and told me it was my "angel of light" and told me I was Jesus. I only believed that I was Jesus for that one night. When I thanked God for telling me that a voice yelled at me and said "Your never coming back!" I thought I had committed and unforgivable sin by believing I was Jesus. When I got home my girlfriend April looked freaked out. She said while I was gone that a voice told her "Nick is never coming back!" This is how I knew the voices were actually real."
I got very depressed and decided I was going to hang myself but when I tugged on the chord the hook ripped out of the ceiling. I then decided to not kill myself. I later learned in the Bible that it says the devil will come to you as an angel of light. That is exactly what the voice said to me before it it told me I was Jesus. I finally realized that the devil himself visited me not an angel or God. I realized this was all an elaborate trick the devil thought up to try to get me to kill myself. When I came to the realization that the Devil wanted dead it actually made me feel better. I knew I had to be here for a good reason if the devil wanted me dead. I know that sounds like scitzofrenia but I haven't heard a voice in over 2 decades.
