- A walk around the Arona Gran Hotel in Los Cristianos in May 2022. Including the UP! rooftop Lounge. This is an adults-only hotel at the quieter end of LC, perfect for a chilled out holiday. My No1 hotel. Filmed on my GoPro Hero 10.
Thank you Geoff for posting this video, my wife and I went to the Arona Gran in 2016 and have just booked again for November this year. Your video was greatly enjoyed by us both and we are looking forward to our holiday.

We went in June it is the best hotel we have ever stayed in cannot fault it, fabulous pools and spa pool a huge buffet restaurant with many delicious food choices entertainment every night quality quality quality, we are going to secrets 5 star hotel and spa for adults only in Puerto Calero Lanzarote soon, I have seen a few video's of it and read a lot of feedback on it, I'm not sure it's going to outdo the 4 star Arona Gran though we will see.
Lovely hotel,went there UP pre lockdown since which entire hotel has been refurbished and UP massively extended.
When first lockdown in effect had booked for Arona Gran but Spring Hotels transferred our booking to the Vulcano so have stayed UP there twice since and are booked again for next year
Thanks and looking forward to getting there in March for two weeks looks a really nice hotel
Looks lovely….is there a rush for sunbeds ? (In the morning) ..so think we hate …hopefully there is enough
You see a few early morning sunbed ninjas around the main pools. The UP! lounge does not open until 10:00am so if you have the upgrade you will be ok up there

Thank you. Thehotel is south facing so sun does not get above the hotel to the pool area until after 10:00. From then its fully in the sun

I honestly dont know. If you go on their website there is an email section - they should be able to tell you if there is a minimum period

TBH not sure. Reception will give you rates when you get there. Def worth upgrading if you can.

Not too keen on just looking. Too big and pool area not enough greenery. The main pool is also in the shade so i would imagine its cold unless its heated? Vomments?
The pool is only in the shade first thing. After about 10:00am it is in full sunlight until sunset..

Absolutely. Best views. Best sunbeds and free drinks and foo - go for it!d from 10:00 - 18:00. Basically its like upgrading to all inclusive whilst the UP! lounge is open (Drinks and food in the other bars are not included) You also get a complementary spa treatment and a 5 course meal in the al-la carte restaurant which was lovely

I do not drink,my partner not a big drinker but I think so ,opens 1000 till 1800, snacks available throughout the day, drinks. Nice views,sunbeds generally spaced out.Went to Arona Gran UP pre lockdown ,have been to their Vulcano htel UP twice.Not cheap but...
Thanks for this! Went years ago as a kid before it changed to adult only and returning next month. Haven’t booked up! Do you know if you can upgrade on arrival or pay for spa treatments additionally? Thanks

Whats the entertainment lile ?
To be honest I was usually out walking or in local bars in the evening so cannot comment. The only thing I experienced was the pianist serenading you to dinner, a violin player one evening in the restaurant and a mariachi type group one evening in the restaurant. Sorry I cannot help further
Can men go in dining room with dress shorts on
Breakfast is free and easy. Most men wore shorts then. Dinner is a little more formal. Most men wore stacks but I did see some in dress shorts and polo shirts and there was no issue
how much is the upgrade to up
Not sure as I booked as complete package. If you email the hotel they will be able to give you more info

Included in the UP Package. If you have not booked this I think you can upgrade at reception

Thanks you. If you book the UP! package it almost is (free food and drink in the UP! lounge 10:00 to 18:00). I personally dont go for all inclusive as I prefer to 'spread the wealth' to local bars and restaurants that need your custom
